Hey guys
Fist of my native language is not English so if something is not written right please excuse me.
I neee some advice about building dtw coco system.
My reservoir would be in 100l low conatiner with lid, piping would be from classical ppr preasure watter pipes. Number of plants max 16. Pipe goes up from reservoir then right elbov then straith, right elbov, then down, t piece, then in left and right dirrections with elbov on the floor accros the grow room on both sides. In the center of room elbov to increase height and at the end male connector connected on 8 way spllit. Pump is going to be Syncra 5.0 - 5000 L/h.

I need advice about how big pump needs to be, is this pump too strong?
How to prevent syphoning do I poke hole inside reservoar on biggest point or buy some kind of valve?
Drain is going to be placed on custom pipe bracket with sligth elevetion on one side so gravity can empty 120x120 saucer.
I read on forum that I maybe dont need to oxygenate reservoar or install styring pump because the reservoar is 100l and water will probably be replace every 4-5 days then cleaned and reffiled.
I plan on using Canna coco line, do i need some kind of extra additives for pipes like Ataclean?
Do i need some kind of sterilisation of reservoar ?

hi

if you plan to use PC drippers this pump will not work
if you want to do open lines then it will work but keep in mind you will have disparities in water distribution

if you do big runoffs and collect the drain it's ok, just be sure each plant gets a big runoff every feed, to correct inequalities and rinse salt buildup in the medium ( coco is prone to salt buildup, it's a good medium but dont let them accumulate, rinse generously)

canna coco works great in coco recirculation, you dont need ataclean or any other sh*t
run some low PH water (around ph 4) before each run to clean the line from any salt/calcar buildup and you're good to go

honestly you dont need to replace your reservoir every 5 days
do it 2/3 times during the bloom cycle if you want to keep things fresh and clean but you can do without

if you use open lines with your syncra pump you wont need anti siphoning, as air will enter in your lines after each irrigation session
antisiphoning is useful with PC drippers

Hey
Thanks for reply
Im going to use close circuit from pvc pipe in square shape conneced to 2 8way orbit manifold on opposite sides, and on manifold diy drip ring from poly tube. Runoff 20%, I need to build it in aprox 2-3weeks, so if you dont mind to see my skech, im going to post it later today.
