ok i have posted on other threads pleading for help, but im gonna go the more desperate title way in hope i get some more replies :P lol

First grow- WW using biobizz nutes biogrow- 2mls algamix 3 mls and bloom 2mls currently in all mix ajusting pH with lemon juice to 5.6-6 ( although the soil tester always reads 7, hmm) anyways my temp is 79-80 plants are around 70cm tall.

since converting to 12/12 2 weeks ago im concerned that im developing deficiencies, i suspect zinc but i have dosed em with epsom salts last night to rule that out aswell. The new growth seems to be lime green, distorted (curling) and tightly bunched up at the top im also developing red stems. Any ideas?

Heres some pics :P

Deficiencies appear as chlorosis in the inter-veinal areas of new leaves producing a banding appearance. This may be accompany reduction of leaf size and a shortening between internodes. Leaf margins are often distorted or wrinkled. Branch terminals of fruit will die back in severe cases.
Also gets locked out due to high pH. Zn, Fe, and Mn deficiencies often occur together, and are usually from a high pH. Don't overdo the micro-nutrients, lower the pH if that's the problem so the nutrients become available. Foliar feed if the plant looks real bad. Use chelated zinc. Zinc deficiency produces "little leaf" in many species, especially woody ones; the younger leaves are distinctly smaller than normal. Zinc defeciency may also produce "rosetting"; the stem fails to elongate behind the growing tip, so that the terminal leaves become tightly bunched.

Sounds like a good diagnosis from what you said.

Any ideas what to do about it, can i buy a single nutrient product to remedy it as i dont want to have to get a broad spectrum fertiliser food to treat it as ill get mixed up with how much of that with my biobizz range i should be giving. Anyone had this problem? How did u resolve it etc i dont wanna make things worse. or do i go to the DIY shop and get some galvanised nails that was suggested in a plant deficiency threat, i just dont know, trying to be cautious with my first grow:P

TYVM for all your suggestions in advance :P

looking at your pics I would say that high ph is causing mobile nutrients to stagnate. In other words lack of mobility is causing the issues displayed in your pictures. The lime green and gnarly appearance of leaves is indicative of manganese, boron and iron deficiencies. By deficiency dont be tempted to supplement as you are probably feeding them enough they are just not available due to your ph.

all in first bit, but ill copy and paste :P

I feed when the soil is dry with the watering which is every 2-3 days atm

Hiya thanks for your reply, this is where i get confused as the soil tester says 7, i water with adjusted Ph at about 5.6- 6.2 with lemon juice i add my nutes which dont raise the pH and runoff is around 6.5

Is a pH of 6.5-7 in biobizz soil causing lockout to cause this?

im stumped but i wanna solve it asap :(

first grow huh....
yeah the first grow your bound to have problems....
i did but my second was better....

It seems like your trying to hard....
and your using lemon....???
for the most part i dont worry bout ph too much...
just use good water from a water purifying place...
mine always like 6.5-7
and your using allot of nutes there kiddo ..
id say lay off the nutes ....for a minute.....
and just make sure your temps and conditions are right ....
make sure the timing of light is right and watch for bugs....
make sure ventillation is good...
and dont overwater.....
they look over water...
u shold link us a jorn or start one...
with all the details... so we can give better advice....
good knows what those plants have been going threw the last two months...

ps... i only replied cause i figured you were a hot chick...lol

so flush and start again, and get some proper pH down? Btw havent flushed em yet, pistols are showing should i do it or would it make it worse? If so do i flush with plain water or low strength nutes, are in fact the nutes im using in strong enough quantity, ahhhhh so many factors!!! :(

look just chilll out on them damn nutes....
you dont have to flush....
if your soil is mg or has time release ferts.....it could ruin your plants...if u flush....
you waited to long ....prevention is key...
make a jorn at the beggining and a plan before u gro....peace.

You are using plenty of nutes, do you know your ppm?

Yes, flush with plain ph'd H20, it will make thing better!

Lemon juice is ok in Hydro but in soil doesnt work so well and also gives false ppm readings, a few drops will add 50ppm to your read out...G Luck.

ok ill be more thorough :P

600 hps
Bud box XL tent
temp 79-80 humidity 35-40 2 weeks 12/12
150 Ruck fan with noise reducing ducting
125 Vents TT fan on intake and a small oscillating fan blowing on plants

Plants were all healthy looking until i switched em, and ye lemon juice lol, someone said it was a good home remedy as my tap water sits at 8 so i needed to down the pH and figured i'd try to be all organic ( perhaps i was wrong to, but it was suggested) says to give anywhere between 1-6 mls of each nute so i plumped ( wat i thought) on the lean side) so 2 mls grow, 3 mls algamix and 2-3 mls of bloom. the plants are pretty big at 70cm so i thought overferting wouldn't be an issue.

Is it that the nutes havent got enough of the micro nutrients suggested? would anything in addition help my case, i heard molasses is this true if so any further info on wat type and where to get em from etc lol, yes i am a newb:P

i got my molassis at the grocery store for 3 bucks....
sometime soil is a buffer...you dont have to worry as much as hydro....
givem some time off the nutes and give them molasses....

r u using tap water is it hard or soft if so? i would flush using some sort of leaching solution then water with a 6.0-6.3 extremly light nutrient solution untill growth continues then slightly raise nutes, ive never grown in soil but i dont think ur sposed to feed then with every watering also is ther nutes already in the soil, with ur feedings on top of that could definitly be overdose
good luck
