So I recently started my first grow. And everything was been going fine until last night. Anyway my setup is as follows
Light : MarsII 900
Tent : 3x3x6
Exhaust fan : 6 inch 200cfm booster
(Going to upgrade to an inline fan to help with temps)
And 1 6 inch stationary fan.
Media: FFOF Mixed with perlite
In 3 gallon smart pots.
Seeds
1. 2fast 2 vast heavyweight seeds
2. 6 shooter fast buds

Every thing was going fine for both of them. I have some temp issues usually average from 81 to a high of 90. I think it is because I have a booster fan as my exhaust . Any advice on how to cool it down a bit.
But my real problem is my 6 shooter has been drooping the past couple days and it seems stunted. But the 2f2v seems to be growing healthy. My water pH is 6.5 to 7.0.. Could it be dying. Am I over watering. Are the high temps killing it. i don't know what to do.IMG_20160312_153337.jpg IMG_20160312_153341.jpg

in higher temps your better off keeping them damp not wet as you`ll get less chance of rot

they look ok a wee bit over watered maybe and a bit close to the ground I`d have pot them up higher or lose the lower node or 2

get a fan lightly moving their leaves around and top dress with perlite

My guess is you wet down the entire 3 gallons...the plant is over watered.

But what concerns me more is possibly burning the plant...keep an eye out for yellowing or orange leafs and the leaf tips

Good Luck and Great Growz

Thanks for the reply. I watered them yesterday and today one was drooping really bad. Should I hold off from watering them for a while? Any ideas on how I can cool my tent down? Would a real inline fan make a noticeable difference in temp.

When you put a finger in the soil and it is dry water it. But do not put more water then the plant needs. Give the roots something to stretch for.

Cannabis will continue to thrive in temps as high as 95 degrees. I would not suggest letting it get that high...but if your high is 90 I would not be all that concerned. certainly an inline fan with an air cooled reflector is going to cool it.

Thanks for the help man. What do you mean pot them up higher? Is it possible to do that now without stunting them

That's a load of my shoulder.

I mean put them in the pot a bit higher but if you put a seed in the pot then not much you can do

Yes I would remove the 1st set of nodes maybe even upto node 5 sometimes your very close to the dirt and the 1st 1 to 8 nodes are normally pop corn, strain and grower dependant but still in my experience unless you need them for clones the 1st 1 to 4 nodes can normally go by the time your flowering

Cool. Will do that when I can. Also I've been able to control heat a little better it now peaks at 86 average range 77-82. That's acceptable right? Thanks for all your guys help so far
