Hi I have 5 plants right now small but growing,from bagseed. They are outside right now. But I will soon go to the store and get a couple of cfl's. But I am saving up for a 400w fixture for both MH and HPS bulbs. My question is am I right by saying I can use the MH bulb for vegging plants and the HPS for flowering? If this is correct how many plants can I have under these lights and how far do I keep the light from the plants?

correct mh for veg and hps for flowrin ....as for how many can you grow how big is ur grow space????? i use cfls to veg and will be using hps to flower.....:joint:

then the 5 plants will suit your needs....a 400w plus a couple cfl will get you by.....:joint:

and also I will wrap the entire area in mylar. and I will probably end up doing a scrog and focusing only on the top colas.

and also is it still the same 18/6 during veg even with mh bulb. and is it still the same 12/12 with hps
