Hello!

hello everyone my name is senor snails or refried . i just started growing and seem to have run into some problems and heard this place was the place to go for answers to many of my questions :weed:.

my plant is in week 4 from seedling and i started to notice little shiny almost water stained looking spots on one of the sun leaves before i feed my plant the new nutrients, the problems seems to continue more yellow spot-age that started to show on some of the lower leaves and one of my little branches off the main stock seems to have wilted and yellow leaves ...this is my first time growing indoors i am using Fox Farm Ocean blend and have only fed it the the veggie nutrients once on Monday and did a flush and transplant to bigger pot Wednesday night ( my plant was to big for the pot it was in so i had to do it, i didn't have soil so i had to wait till now ) The PH is reading 6.8 idk what could be wrong any ideas ????

oh i almost forgot these are the nutrients i used .....

( B.C Boost – 3 tsp (15 ml)
B.C Grow – 1½ tsp (7.5 ml)
Thrive Alive B-1 Red – ½ tsp (2.5 ml)
MagiCal – ½ tsp (2.5 ml)
SugarDaddy – 2 tsp (10 ml)

mixed in a gallon of water

edit: i am using a 400w hps and its 27 inch's away , two fans good vent

You did the best thing by flushing it. Those leaves in your pic seem like they are wilting and wrinkling, thats usually a indicator that your plants ph is off. But you say that you water at a 6.8 so thats probably not the problem. The next thing i would correct is next time you feed it cut all those doses of nutes down in half. You always wanna start off with very small amounts and then gradually increase according to your plants response.
Did your leaf that turned yellow and fell off, did it do it while you was in the smaller pot? Because I have had problems with leaves yellowing and falling off because of being root bound, so its good thing that you transplanted. But yea you are on the right track by flushing, thats the first thing I would have done. Just make sure your ph is good and start low level nutes......OHHHU 1 more thing is your using a 400hps at 27 inches? thats too far away from your plant. You are losing valuable light. I keep my 600 12-14 inches away from my plant. Drop your light closer, my buddy uses a 400 and he keeps his at 8-10 inches away with no heat problems just make sure you have a fan blowing across your bulb

The easiest way to test how close you can get your light is too place your hand under the bulb. If it feels hot on your hand then its too hot for your plant. Find a zone where it feels warm on your hand but not hot then place your light at that distance

bongsmiliesweeet! thanks good looking out iv posted other threads up but no replies i was starting to get a bit worried no one would since I'm pretty new here. today the symptoms seem to have come to a stop she looks more perky and spots have not spread i think the flushing might have done the trick but i did notice something i didn't yesterday some of the newer sets of leaves coming out have almost like first signs of yellowing or i might just be me being paranoid ill take a pic and post it up a little later today to see if you can tell what it could be and yes i lifted my light because i thought it might of been getting to hot since i noticed the yellowing but now that you have reassured me ill lower it too. i have another plant that started showing the same symptoms but didn't continue to spread like this one did...ill post a pic of that one too its a week behind this one i just posted.

Just keep an eye on those baby leaves, its normal tho for them to come out kinda yellow as they are forming but they should turn to green as they grow. A nitrogen defieciency will start from the bottom set of leaves and work its way up the plant

also what I do is I hang a thermometer from my hood so that it is reading your temps at your canopy level. You can get a good digital thermometer from walmart for $7. Aslong as you keep it around 85 your good

niicce sounds good. sorry for the late response i didnt have internet for a little bit but im back online! and i have come with updated pics let me know what you think i switchd nutes to earth juice and its been working out amazing. let me know what you think the two bigs ones are a week away from flowering. the others are still 2-3 weeks behind my two biggest ones
