if the soil is cool (under 70 F) it could take longer.

yea the soil is pretty cool, should i turn on a cfl for some heat?

my good seed that grew me a great crop took over a week. so just hang in there dude
sure, an incandescent radiates more heat though or put them on top of your hot water heater tank or even a heating pad set on low. It REALLY does make a difference. I had ungerminated seeds pop up 18 hours after planting.
