I would start feeding after a month old.your compost might hold enough nutes for the 1st month, you dont wanna overfeed at the start of the plants life,it can slow growth and kill them if really over done.less is more for me outdoors.i have had crops in locations i couldnt feed but they still thrived,they were fed before going outdoors.using the nutes and bat really pumped up my last crop though and is worth every penny.imo

Around a fortnight to feed if its a light mix,a month if its carrying its own fert.or if it has got bat guano in,i would just check the label on your compost there all a bit different.
