Hello from Oklahoma

My name is Casey, I`m 56 and have been smokin since i was 15. But i never really grew my own till it was legal here. I grew for 3- 4 years and fell off it for couple of years and this last winter i grew 1 blueberry bella and ended up with a 1.5 oz. At the last of it my 4x4 tent zippers took a major f`up. and ended up getting me a spiderfarmer 3x3 for this next grow. I have 2 viparspectra 1500`s. 1 is a xs and the other is a pro that i bought some years ago. i just used a ac infinity controller for my last grow and loved it. This will be my 7th grow i just started useing 4 tropical fuel and have a half and half mix of FFoF and their 70/30. for them. I have been looking into the drip buckets in stead of soil or maybe organic. I`ve yet to get more than a 1.5oz from 1 plant. So thats why i`m here

Fellow okie here! There's several of us on here. Just don't give up and learn something from every grow and it will get better. I average 4-6 oz per plant, sometimes less. My focus has been improving quality. Just tried a 630w cmh and was blown away at how Frosty these plants got.

My last grow was super frosty and I had alot of popcorn buds I left during flower. They ended up hard . Most my buds I had to use a grinder and 4 hits got me stoned..

When I first started growing it was with blurple led fixture 1000w equivalency. I fell for the marketing b.s. The equivalency ratings are a complete lie, it's when I built a diy fixture from citizen cobs that I had really started to see some quality flower.

What size pot are you using and what are you feeding. I normally use 7 gal pots if I'm feeding salts and get 6-9oz per plant only get 3-4oz if I use a 3gal pot. If your going the organic route you want to use 10-15 gal pots.

What kinda of grower are you? Lackadaisical or obsessive? 1.5 oz from what I would presume was a photo girl is... a success, since you got to harvest, but not much beyond that. Did you ever top dress? Add teas? Compost? Foliar treatments/ feeding? We've got some pretty wild climate swings from one side of the state to the other, you more desert or grassland? As the AZ growers will tell you humidity and temp control are paramount, just behind regular watering of course.

I still have my blurple 1000w, It sure is noisy the last time i tried it.

I have been using 5g fabric. With fox farm grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, and some sledgehammer at times. Ive went down from a 4x4 tent to a 3x3 so organic is a no go for me than i recon. Feeding salts?

Hello, i can be obsessive at times, or it might be ocd. And yes it was photo`s i only added some fox farm nutes, i never top dressed or used teas before. I do have ac infinity controller67 hooked up to 6in fan and filter. That helped me control vpd alot easier, i also have humidifiers, and a dehumidifier.

Synthetic liquid fertilizers. Your fox farm nutes apply.

How long do you veg for? I typically run 1 plant in a 3x3 and veg it until it will fill the canopy after flip takes anywhere from 1-3 months depending on feeding method and genetics.
How are you determining your harvest? If your going off breeder given bloom times remember those are set in ideal condition under the care of an experienced grower, most of us home growers wind up going an extra 2-3 weeks, a lot of bulking up happens in the last 3 weeks of flower.

Healthy plants+great smoke should not equal 1.5oz yeild I hope we can help those yeilds up

I think the first lesson most of us learn as cultivators is to not over love our girls. Give them what they need to thrive and the time and space to do so

This is all organic in a 2x2 so it’s doable. I don’t do organic for any other reason than it’s simpler. Same methodology employed during outdoor. I just can’t be bothered with all the mixing and endless futzing with salts. Welcome to RIU

Question about seeds. A while back i traded a motorized bike for 4oz of weed and his seed stash. but the seeds i got are Van Gogh; some Double Glock Bee Jesus; some Bluedream Van Gogh Bee Jesus C.S. some Jesus Bee Jesus C.S.. and more unmarked he said were special. i know the c.s. is colloidal silver. But does that mean their feminized. the other seeds are not. And forgive me for not likeing post, i just dont see where to do that.

I`m reusing my soil. it was half fox farms ocean forest and half their 70/30 mix. it was sledgehammered down to close to 600ppm from before. to reuse it I had it all in a wheelbarrow and put close to 4 inches on top of happy frog soil conditioner, and 4q`s of earthworm castings with it and mixed it and it filled up my 4 fabrics. Thoughts?
