Glad to be a part of this community! I have some good growing experience (all medical and legal) and am looking forward to helping and being helped!

I also have a question for anyone who might know:

Have you guys heard of anyone being prosecuted/arrested from content they published on a forum and then being traced back to them? Because I run a legal grow, I am not too concerned about this with my own situation but I do have friends in other states who have posed this question to me.

Thanks!

Welcome.

I would think any public data could be used against anyone.
However, we do have 1st amendment issues that cover information.

It's when folks go live and have sales and grow ops that I have noticed they seem to have problems.
Actually I have read about more problems with friends that turn out to be rippers.
Friends that are only out to take what they can get.

I see it even in the medical community in California.

Good to hear, and from someone unafraid to show their face! I have sensed some fear among people wanting their identity to be found out, so that is why I ask. I am lucky to be in Colorado where it is somewhat tolerated, but you never know about the federal government....

Well I got sick of the GrowSite Fear lifestyle. I am Medical and so I said frack that. It's a real controversy about coming out. It has to happen for our Cannabis Community to improve it's mental health but we have been taught to be frightened of our legal system and are now being told if we vote Yes on prop 19 we will still lose.

How can a people live as if they are shadows? What for some Morality over a natural plant that someone else has? What for the Profit Margens of corporations exporting jobs overseas?

So we have to do this dance. We have to pretend to be Good Canna-Nazis even-though we are Canna-Jews because of the Canna-Gas-Chamber.

I read today that the Feds have announced they have "California Anti-prop 19' peoples back" They will still go after even if.. Well Looks like a revolution.

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2010/10/even-if-prop-19-passes-us-atty-gen-eric-holder-says-federal-drug-laws-will-be-vigorously-enforced-against-people-who-grow-dis.html

I added a comment
Freedom is never free. To Oppose the Ruling power has always been a revolution. However, how will the USA defend an all out War on California's Cannabis Freedom and still call itself our Government if prop 19 passes?
Seriously. Will our Government fight States rights? After all all the States had to sign on to the anti-cannabis laws and they supposedly have the right to sign off too.
This Freedom stuff is a problem for the USA isn't it?

Interesting that the Home of the Brave means fighting the Federal-Red-Coats now.
Wow USA.. It's a plant. It grows in the Sun, in the Earth and is free to all yet we fear it. We imprison for it and we sweat our Profit Margins while we suppress Democracy in our Home-land and abroad over a simple plant.
I'm not one to support "intelligent design" But in this case this Red Herring "Marijuana" is a rather auspicious conundrum.
So California, I'm guessing you know full well how to avoid the Feds! Lets pass prop 19 so we stop the State from cooperating with the Feds on this States Rights issue. After all Smart Meters are our enemy.
I guess a few hundred thousand troops can go house to house looking for Gardens after November 2. At least we can drop some of the Unemployment by filling the prisons. Gee wouldn't that be a better use of Federal Energy? Creating Jobs and investment in the Prison industry?

No! let folks consume cannabis in peace. Oh oh.. I get it it's the Peace part that is so threatening not the intoxication. After all George Bush II said War is Good for America and the last time I checked the Pay for Drug Tzar of Police officer was a lot better than most hourly wage jobs that are left for all of us to fight over.
Save the Drug Prohibitionists aristocracy from unemployment. Crime should always be a growth industry!

repped bro, good to see you making a stand. I just know that the legal system is not equal. If they want to nail you they will. I just like to keep a low profile and not attract attention. Need more bros like you!

Peace!

Yes on Prop. 19

I think if the federal government does step in and try to stop what is going on in Cali, it will only anger the citizens more and will only help the Pro-Marijuana snowball. I have even seen more and more conservatives coming forward saying that it is our right to use marijuana if we want, and the government should have no control/power over that choice. People are waking up. It is too late to stop the pro marijuana movement. We have already gone too far and too many people have seen the veil of BS that the government has put in front of us disappear. As people like us are able to freely discuss ideas, more and more of this corruption will be exposed and more and more people will begin thinking for themselves, rather than listening to the media, or even worse, to the government.

Oh I understand. The Average person wants to keep to the center of the road. Able to move to the right when needed for safety or to the left when it's safe.

I understand. What I find offensive is those who want others to take risks while they stand aside and benefit if things go right or are safe from harm if things go wrong. I don't need Canna-Friends like that.

If folks reading can't take an active stand they can donate a few dollars to Norml, MPP and the ACLU. By that I mean that now is the time! If the rest of the USA doesn't get active they may find causing any change at all to be very difficult.
Even if California becomes a Free-State the rest of the States are Still Slave States with a Federal Government at the ready to arrest run-away Slaves er.. I mean Cannabis people.

Still we are getting more folks like me all the time.
The more people that move that center of the road safety line towards canna-freedom the better our politics will function on Legalizing for all the people all over the world.

Hey are we really ready to build even more prisons when pre-schoolers have lost their school funding in California? That there is no toilet paper in public restrooms in public parks if the bathroom is even open these days.

I don't know if Republicans or Democrats can actually restore the quality of public works like parks and other areas in the near future but Cannabis Bonds issued by the State of California would put a few tens of millions into the kitty right up front. Hopefully we can reopen some of the restrooms in the State and provide toilet paper and hand soap with some of the funds.
