First time grower here, been browsing the forums as a guest for a bit and decided to join up. Currently waiting for my lights to get here and still looking into carbon filters (AC Infinity 6" has been out of stock for a while). I plan on growing organically using a KIS soil mix. Researching blumat irrigation as well...trying to take most of the guesswork out to eliminate potential mistakes. No clue wtf I'm doing but enjoying reading and trying to build some knowledge as we go. Have a great day everyone! :bigjoint:

welcome, friend! It is so much fun, and there is so much to learn. Just like life, there's good and bad folk here. Most I've dealt with are very friendly and helpful.

Soil is most forgiving...assuming you are aware of coco perlite, hydro, and dwc, grow styles, etc

Shop for your equipment as some you are paying more, only by brand. I use the Living basics tent, I have a generic in-line fan and filter and its great, just have to look for the virgin Australian carbon...i think it's referred to. Just read reviews. As most stuff is made in the same factory in China with a different label...

I get everything from Amazon and aliexpress ( be very aware of the shipping fees)...amazon is way faster. Keep that in mind.

Thanks man, I appreciate the offer and I might take you up on that as I get going. Always good to get feedback from experienced growers! I was lucky enough to fall into some money so I sort of went a bit crazy with my setup. I'm sure I could have saved tons of money, but, it's cash I would have never had before and I never treat myself to nice things so I just said fuck it and splurged lol. Hopefully it all works out and I can have as much fun and still be doing this 10 years later like you are. :clap:8-)
