hello, been trying to figure this problem 4 ever with rollits help! any sugestions?

hey fellow gardeners ive been battling this yellow leaf problem for almost two monthhs!. It has kept to the bottom few leafs and almost 14 days in flower its staarting to move its way up!!!! People have first told me mag diff, so i flushhed and did the epson salt thing and didnt start to work so i boosted my calmag also. Other people said many diffrent things and i donot want to lose anymore cause i just have 2 now cause of males! lol So i think it might be a n problem any ideas??? thanks!!

Initial lowers yellowing could be N... middle ones, not N. Are you using ph'd water and making sure you're not locking nutes out? Would blame the middle yellowing on trace elements. My .02

im pretty sure this is salt toxicity.

thats the only thing i know of that can wither a plant from the bottom up.

i would taste my runoff water to see if it's salty, or just flush em clean and run in some fresh nutrients

Gradual uniform yellowing starting with lower fan leaves. Progressing to burnt tips and eventual leaf necrosis.

The fact that its not spreading quickly means that its being kept in check and is not too severe.


Have you recently switched to "bloom nutes"?

severe nitrogen deficiency can cause the plant to rob lower foliage of it's N, but it's usually a whole leaf at a time with fairly uniform paleness and eventual yellowing. if he put up a picture of the whole plant it would be easier to tell for sure, but it looks like it's a leaf by leaf death, and thats usually toxicity of some sort, and salt is my guess.

if large sections of the plant are dying off while the remainder of the plant looks healthy, thats often a sign that something is eating the roots, like jerusalem crickets, pillbugs or some other pest, but from his concerns it sounds like individual lower leafs are just snuffing it, which usually means it's being poisoned slowly

N doesn't affect middle yellowing, that's trace - is why I said multi-symptom, short of pH lockout, or as the Doc mentioned, salt tox.

[HR][/HR][HR][/HR][HR][/HR]Well I'm really glad your not losing any sleep over it when you get out of bed you could post dirt and the nutrients you are using and how much my guess is a possible case of under feeding or possible ph issues......
