Hey every one, you all can call me Elegerit, first time card holder and first time closet grower. I have been growing for the past 4-5 months from seedlings and the biggest plant out of the bunch is about 4 ft tall and I was curious as to if there was a way I could turn this single plant into flowering with out changing the whole light cycle. I have heard if you put a black bag over it that it will make it go into budding but I am extremely skeptical, so I have tried this method for the past 3 days just curious if any one has any knowledge to this method or an even better one thanks every one for the read and look forward to chatting and learning with you all.

I could see how the bin liner principle could work, the darkness being the simulation of the descent into winter, ergo, time to flower. However, I seriously doubt that would do much for the plant and its never ever going to be any better than simply switching to a flower cycle on your lamp.

If you want to flower one and not the other, its a two lamp/two closet job I reckon.
