Looking pretty good .... Be aware this forum CAN BE OF HELP BUT there are some knuckleheads that troll here too.

Autos are easy ... Plug and play . They are not really heavy feeders so keep that in mind . But love all the light you can throw at them .

Thanks for the info. I have read a lot on these forums and afn. Just trying to soak up as much info as I can. Hopefully the super soil lasts. I'll probably try to get some organic Cal mag just in case.

Do you think I should run an organic tea later on in the grow?

You can ... It will give a boost to depleting soils , plus if loaded with mycos , it makes you soil happy.

Dr. Earth veg garden soil is an ORGANIC soil which can be used for TEA. Instructions are on bag. Home Depot has it.

Nice I will look into that def. Is there a certain age I should start?

And about how often?

I do have a super soil mix. I bought a mix on eBay that has this

1.5 Cubic Ft. Super Soil Kit Contents

  • .625 lb. Fish Bone Meal 3-16-0
  • .625 lb. Bat Guano 0-7-0
  • .625 lb. Blood Meal 13-0-0
  • .375 lb. Rock Phosphate
  • 3/32 cup Epsom Salt
  • 1/16 cup Sweet Lime (Dolomite)
  • 1/16 cup Azomite (67 Trace Elements)
  • 1/16 cup Kelp Powder 0-0-17
  • 1/16 cup Mycorrhizal Fungi (300 spores per gram)
  • 3/4 tsp. Powdered Humic Acid 90% Pure
I mixed it with 1.5cf of half FF Happy Frog and half Cyco Coco and some ewc. Cooked it for a few months. Only 1/3 of bottom is super soil. The rest of the base is the half happy frog half cyco coco.

Since they are directly in the ground I only have to water like once a week. Maybe twice if its really hot. With all the rain we have gotten I've only had to water the garden

If they are in ground , I would just stick with teas and soil drenches once in awhile .
As far as super soils go , you might want to get some regular grows under your belt before going " next level " .

Oddly about 99% of those listed ingredients are ALREADY in dr. Earth.

Plus other things like feather meal .

Yeah I know. I bought that and made it before doing too much research. I plan on getting a dedicated no till section in my greenhouse. I've been reading up on that and it's very intriguing. I had it and didn't want to waste it lol.

A neighbor in Alaska breeds autos. Owns part of a seedbank in the Lower 48. He grows amazing autos. He uses Jobes Organic plant spikes 1 near where the roots will end up and another halfway there. Then just waters with nasty ass well water or water from a creek heavy in tannin.
