Well, I'm Geno...and I'm from Maine. I do not grow out doors, simply because it's to damn wet here. Maybe someday, I might build a greenhouse.

So, what am I growing? Simply put, I don't really know. It's either Pandora's Box, or Vortex. I had so many seeds that didn't take, so I said to hell with it and put the two packs together, so I have no idea which one is which. But I'm going to grow the hell out of it this time. I have torn down my grow room 4 times and spent I don't know how much, Oi Vey...lol. But I will be taking time lapse photos with the game camera that I bought just for this purpose. I have 4 600 watt metal hallide bulbs on 8 plants. I'll make sure they get enough CO2 and fatten em up...and turn them into some hefty ladies. I will try and figure all this out if I have the time and keep you posted with pics and vids....wish me luck.

Sounds a lot different than how I grow so I'm interested to see how it goes for you. I've always used LED and like to see other lights and how they work for people. Best of luck!

Well, I have a 3000 watt or 4000 watt, which ever, LED for my tent where I keep the mothers in. And then under another LED for the cloning, and then the big lights come in. My father worked for a huge paper mill up here in the NorthEast, and he brought home some special lights. I'm stoned right now, so of course I can't remember the name of them, but the were used to clean the water or the paper or something. LOL. Same arch as welding. you can set a timer on it, but you CAN'T go in when it's on. It might create more THC for the plant, but probably not worth the hassle or trouble.

Ultraviolet. Be extremely cautious and read a lot. Cancer causing and not a joke. Not saying to not use to SUPPLEMENT a regular light source. Saying to read about exposure on your part. Use wisely and with knowledge onboard.

I burned my plants bad last grow playing around with UV. It is very serious stuff for sure. I need to do a lot more reading on it before trying with a better setup and understanding of how much to use.

The UV fixtures are designed so you can’t really look directly at it. Personally I’d rather not mess with.
I was trying to boost a weak light and learned a good lesson in being greedy. I think I'll leave it until I have a bigger area and can use it safer. I've already had skin cancer from a lifetime of outdoor work and hobbies, I'm not trying to push my luck and get it again.

Yup...my father is an electrician and has to build the balist (more than likely not spelled right) for them, and I know that they have to blink and stuff...I'm thinking I'm not going to mess around with it.
