Sup guys just wondering if I should flip my 2 girls to flower today.. I have 1 orange cookies x chocolate diesel & 1 bubba something I forgot lol, in fox farm ocean forest (3 gal pots).
They’re under the spider farm 2000 (20%) inside my old dresser drawer, grow space is 2x1.5x3ft.
First time using trellis net and Im worried about flipping to early not letting them fill canopy. They’re okay but not quite wall to wall yet.. I also have a lot of baby shoots right under trellis net. Idk if I should veg longer to let them catch up with the rest or just flip to flower and hope they mature during final stretch.. any suggestions would be love thanks.

I've heard 3/4 or 2/3 full net and flip.

Cool little setup, I think it is gonna really get packed in there though.
That’s what I’ve stuck to roughly with mine. I would say when I flipped I was around 60% full.

But the other thing to remember is that younger plants tend to stretch more than plants that are more mature.

Need holes in your trash cans so your water can drain. Get the trash cans off the main ground or they’ll soak up runoff.
And you should’ve went with maybe like totes or something for pots. Something shorter but wider.
Agreed, short wide containers grow better plants than tall skinny ones, and they don't take up the vertical that you are losing fast.

I have holes in the bottom... and I know I used these skinny tall containers I was gonna use for the whole grow before I found out I could’ve used wider pots. Tried putting them in short wider pots but root ball was too tall so this was my best option. Oh and I have holes draining run off outside box
