Height Issues??

Hello all I am new here and have question about height on 2 plants they were under cfl 18/6 for about month and then 400w metal halide for 1 month and since July 30 a 400w hps 12/12 the height is 3 1/2 feet tall (42-43 inches) and I would like them to stop growing!! Do they just stop after reaching a certain height?.. or keep growing, the strain is sour diesel, any input on what I can do to slow height w/o harm would be appreciated:weed:
 
You probably need to start LST, where in you bend branches down & tie them to force the plant to "Bush" out. Try the FAQ, plenty of info there.

yeah, your in the stretch phase of flowering currently but it will stop itself and start budding in the next week or so. tie it down if it gets out of hand on height

ok I have read about LST and was not sure to top it in the flowering cycle i saw some net type setups above canopy can i do this or make grid of string above nodes from wall to wall? and can you see the pics i uploaded? sorry but the newbie central thread was was kind of confusing

ummm...lst is not toppoing...hence the low stress...all u do is bend the main stem to the side and tie it down...this enhances the light to the lower branching and focuses the auxins that were going up there ,to the lower part
 
Ok I see if I posted my pics right and you can see, what do you think is best way to bend and tie down, i was thinking putting the plants all the way on left and tie top to right side of wall some way?
 
Damn it could you possibly be kind enough to tell me how to put them in i clicked the manage attachments and uploaded them? what step am i missing?
 
did you wait long enough for them to actually upload or did you prematurely close the window thinking it was done?

Just get some twine, or cotton string, and do this (LST in flower) GENTLY!

That will slow it down for a couple weeks and you should be good. GL
 
You were absolutely right i prematurely closed window thinking they were done! i did not find out how to put pics in current thread so i posted another one with pics, is that what you do?
