Heeelp!!! everything great in veg then move to flower and hell breaks loose!

hey there these are most likely wayyy past gone but just wanted to get some ideas!

70%happy frog
30% coco perlite

had fungus gnats used bti as soil drench
had thrips sprayed plants with neem at NIGHT and thats really when everything whet crazy!

so back story everything was fine im veg plants where great under t5s then they where moved into the flower rooms under gavitas 1000leds with 8ft off the lights super high in my opinion they took a pretty heavy light burn and full purpel stemmed almost right away i do have the gavitas at min light percentage at 50% and that they are still recovering from that but my main issue is super low ph. in veg thr plants where 6-6.2 always and now after the first week of flower my ec goes from 6.2 to 5.5 and i cant seem to raise it no matter what i do so im just not under standing whats going on im 100% sure there in lock out but why?
ive flushed back to back and now letting them dry out but i think its to late to save them now..

havent fed over 1.6ec and its feed dry water feed dry water….

How much neem are you using? For thrips I use Safer's End All with 10ml/L neem or canola oil added and that works great. Spray every 4 days for four treatments and they're gone.

Did you follow up at the end of flushing with some nutes because those plants look like they are starving and eating up the fan leaves to me. I've seen so many flush without adding a light feed of balanced nutrients as the last part of the flush then wonder why the plants look so shitty. Waiting for them to dry out while they are in a heavy feeding stage of life will fug them up as you see happening.

Measuring runoff pH is just a ballpark estimate even when it's done correctly and I doubt you are doing that to industry standards so I wouldn't fret about the results you're getting. I would get some dolomitic lime and add a tsp or two to each pot stirred into the surface to help keep the pH up a bit. You are using real soil so the pH should be around 6.5 but 6 - 7 is generally fine for soil grown plants. I use ProMix HP with organics added and with RO water never check the pH at all.

Good luck with your ambitious project!

:peace:

They definitely seem to be starving. What size pots are those? They look like they might be a little too small. I'd recommend 5 gallon fabric pots at least.

These plants were not healthy in veg. They appear to have had poor lighting along with poor feeding habits. Not the worse plants for a new grower with a few plants but it's really bad for such a large grow. Stop growing with Happy Frog 70% / coco 30% and learning to grow in coco would be a better choice. This grow is not going to end well.

and at this grow i took over its not poor feeding habits or light the main issue is spacing the 2 flower rooms are 10x the size of the veg room..the 2 flower rooms are 600sqft and the veg room is 6 4/8 trays so i have to fill it to be able to fill the flower room. there is no spacing in veg its plants on plants and its one t5 per tray so yea going from a t5 to gavita 1000led is a disaster. ive spoke to the owner and got the green light to do cheap led in veg and only fill one flower room at a time beacuse plants need spacing as yall no of they are staked up they fight for light and cant breath so theres other issues i did not mention.

and yes i was just hardening them off they are going in 12x12 pots but i was not going to transplant untill i figured out the issue. i feed 1.6ec every other day to run off so that was not the issue now we know it was these little fuckers shitting and eating my roots causeing the ph crash . the last 2 harvest i pulled 40lbs trimmed out of both rooms and off these skinny little plants like this you guys have to understand i dont own this grow the guy who does wants high plant count and both rooms filled just trying to do my best lol

and the flower lights ate gavita 1930e i have them at only 50% and they still light stress the fuck out of them simce there going from t5 in veg to the gavitas in flower….if i lowered the lights or turn up the percentage they will surly die hence why the last grower was fired cant go from t5 to 115% 1930e thats suicide on the plants they got to harden off properly. legit not being in there for a day they started red steming and wooding from the top to the bottom with light bleaching on the top new growth. i left alot out thats my fault. so you guys are just trying to figure it out for me and i appreciate that. but im killing them as soon as the merit gets here cause the boss does not want to toss any healthy plants so all the heavy infested fuckers just got thrown out in the woods and the other 80% will be drenched.

yea ive grown in coco all my life this grow has a well issue hence the heavy soil. we have run out of water many times so its all i could do. we dont get city water where im at.

i don

i get paid to do what the owners want not what i want. once i kill the aphids all will be well ill keep yall posted with the come back
as long as i pull 35lbs trimmed all is good plus i got another 100 plants to swap for the heavy infested ones. i never posted on these sites because i always felt that there tent growers just giving advice when your growing commercial the game changes this is 1/4 grows im responsible for taking care of 2 4/8 tents or one 12/12 room i dont believe have the experience nor the professional opinions that are valid. i have over 2k plants im responsible for so i dont need the sarcasm. i figured out the problem the other veg room is finsihed being built at this specific grow i wont have to cram 500 plants into 5 4/8trays i even had plants 2 rows deep off the trays barely getting light and the plants show that you guys think i dont see that lol but like i said i do what they pay me to do alot of these people dont know plants but the pay is nice
