I have always heated my house with a wood burner. Doubt the smoke is any worries. Unless its enough to bother you, then it may bother your plants. A plus is the constant supply of fresh air flowing through the house. A negative is the extremely dry air it can create. Nothing a small humidifier cant remedy in most grows....

Thats all I use for heat and my plants are in the basement with the woodburner

A pot of water on top of the wood stove will help raise the humidity.
A small amount of smoke wont hurt. And yes there is a small addition of co2 and also CO though. The light fire gives off will mess with your light schedule if visible from the plants.

wow I never even thought the light it puts out now im glad i got that tent. The drynes is the bigest problem and thats fine with me also my house is infested with lady bugs lol one mans plauge is my gift from god. Its good to see Im not the only one using a wood burning stove.

The woodburner also provides great ventilation. It is almost always sucking large amount of air out of the house
