That's funny "place a fan near the flour"
when I was little and they had instant coffee and it was very fine consistency, he told me to blow into the jar. I learned my lesson early.
 
you are right about the optimal being around 85.... but this is only if all factors are perfect, ie light, co2 and nutrients... thus keeping it on the safe side down around 78-79...
 
The air is 80- your breathing air thats 80..paint on car is +130...

The paint on the car is what your trying to keep cool, doesnt matter what the air temp is if the plant absorbs enough radiation (light heat etc) that its hotter than optimal.
This is why you use an ir temp gun to read your plants at canopy.
Besides, if you have enough air flow and water at the roots, transpiration and evaporative cooling will keep your plants healthy into the 90's
 
Is this caused by heat That leaves just looks really weird The tips are turning black and curling down a little bit While the edges are canoeing up.CAM00848.jpg

The point im trying to make is dont use the car (thermometer) to get a weather report when left in the sun!
 
Well my lights have been on two hpurs i have one sitting on the sink behind the fan and one hanging on the rim of potCAM00850.jpg CAM00849.jpg
 
Alot of good suggestions on here , 1 thing I notice is the number of fans you have blowing which is just moving your hot air , I understand by the looks of it a little tight fit your better off not trying to vent out where you are and keep your ducting one size and short real simple no sharp angles , also point couples fans straight down , pushing cold air up.

Hope it helps , been there done that.

My intake is Basically on the floor So if I put a thermometer there it would be reading my floor temperatures. I will put one of my readers outside the room and see what it is. I think my problem might be I have my tent outside of my grow room Ventilating straight into The room that my grow room is pulling its intake from.

Well I can't change my Ventilation setup The only other place I can have it been delighting to is just right outside of my grow room. Then my intake would be sucking in 90 degree air
