Hello ya'll
Where do ya'll source your extruded aluminum from?
Am looking for some strip stock to mount some LED strips on for my build?
Thanks in advance.

Check your yellow pages imho: where construction and contractors go. U-channel works fine. Everywhere i check online is more expensive than my locals, especially when you factor in shipping. But i might just be lucky to have a good place.

Not sure on prices but Lowe's, Atwood's, and Tractor Supply all sell aluminum bar stock. At least around here

How did the strips work for you on the flat bar stock?
I didn’t have any issues, easy to use, secured with good thermal tape. I’m not driving anything extreme that would require more cooling. What are you trying to do?

I didnt see ant at my TSC, I'll look again.
Thank you
Just call a welder or search for a local metal supplier, either could tell you were to find stock alloys. Electricians or contractors might be able to point you to local extruded stuff.

At the momemnt, just shopping for the extruded alumimum for my next indoor run. I've got my strips, drivers are on order and now am looking at the frame part of the build. Its for a 4x4 tent 6 bars, 12 strips,2 bub boosters maybe 3, and a 10wt 395 UV, all up, about 740 watts.
