heat question???

question is ive been running my 400 watt mh in my 3x3 tent with 6 in inline fan dimmed down temps were staying between 75 and 77 i switch the mh out for the hps this morning and temp wont go below 81 ambient temps are between 65 and 68 what should i do

IMO, 81 is fine grown many with 85f and no Co2.Add another fan.......... Cause HPS puts out more lumens which = more heat.Your supply air is coming from the coolest place? Over 85f id worry alittle.Just watch your plants they will tell ya! If they want it colder,Sativas like it warmer for me.

vents right out the top of the tent have two 6" intake holes at the bottom one on each side of the tent

yeah the coolest place ambient is staying about 69 ill prob be able to get it down a lil later once outside temps drop a lil

81 is great for a lights on temp as long as you keep up on moisture. Plants like it warm and moist. My best grow was done in the mid 80s as a lights on temp. Just make sure you dont cook it by letting it dry out

not too moist! youll get fungus!

but i agree, just like their native climate, they like it hot with a moderate humidity level.

sativas grow in a warmer climate vs indica
