yeah i been wondering i was just thinking of buying the cheap one thats 13w for only $19 its supposed to be like the 150w... if u have access to the light see if it gets hot... i was thinking about putting one of those in a two drawer metal filing cabinet... and i want to know if it would get too hot for in there

Product Description:
65W, Bronze, Fluorex Security Flood Light, Lights Up To 2580 SQFT, Dusk To Dawn Operation, Color Corrective Blue Rich Full Spectrum Lamp Provides Superior Light Quality For Night Vision(available in red as well), 70% More Efficient Than Mercury Vapor, 40% More Efficient Than High Pressure Sodium, Operates In Temperatures To -20, Instant Strike & Restrike, No Ballast Hum....

i think it only says its more efficcient then MV and HPS because the MV and HPS temps are way higher so u have to have it further from plant... the flourex light isnt that hot so u can have it up next to the plant.... so it actualy equals out pretty good... its either temp or distance in this problem.....

sweet link to that guy doing the crazy micro grow. I was amazed........

I think CFL is a great way to go for anyone not wanting to have crazy cords and ballasts all over their house. The micro guy was pumping more than enough weed out to supply most any dopehead a personal stash every month as well as enough to dole out for covering the electricity bill.......in full.

crazy... I bought the 85w one from Lights of America. I was pissed when I found out it wouldn't work in a normal mogul socket. It has to have the ballast with it which takes up space... a lot. I would advise you to find a different type of light because mine is a piece of shit and I'm gonna pawn it! I didn't just buy the bulb, but the whole unit for 60$. It isn't worth 5 dollars. Get a 3-5 socket vanity strip. Ive seen them for 10$ or less. buy however many y adapters you need to fill in the sockets. Costco has 6count 6500k cfl packs for 4 dollars. way better investment in my opinion

yeah i bought the 65w bulb for $10 and when i got home found out it cant go in the socket so i got ahold of a 70w hps flood light and tryed the bulb in there ... nothing... and then i was mad.. i got a 13w one for free... it produces very "sun" like light.. in the bathroom it looks like it has a window... lol... but its not a screw in bulb....

and yeah i made my own kinda light ficture thing.... https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/117244-diy-cfl-fixture.html
thats what im using now and its nice....
