Heat issues VS Light leaks.

Hello again! :hump:

any thoughts will be much appreciated, i have searched around for some insight on the topic i am about to raise & here it goes...i am very curious as to which stress for a plant would be worse , light leaks or heat stress
1 must have more effect than the other or are both as bad as each other, and if you had to risk 1 to occur..say you wanted lights off at night so there's minimal risk for a light leak to occur but on the other hand you might want them on at Night so it's cooler in the grow room but you just never know when there sleeping during the day there could be a leak..somewhere... possibly not but just giving a scenario what would you do...and i don't really want to hear about venting heat because i know all about it....this room has intake and outtake but is still hot and i'm losing the war UNLESS perhaps i just have lights switch on at night then who knows, but anyway share you're knowledge with me and for those that are curious as well, many thanks. :peace:

Neither is good and both can be fixed so I'm not going to rank them. Run your lights at night and go in there during the day to look for and fix any light leaks. Easy.

thank you for you're input Bugeye , i did think about that & will sit in there for 5 or so minutes once light goes out in the morning, i really wanted them to sleep at night time but i guess i don't have much option with the situation i'm in, i'll just have my fingers crossed and hope for the best bongsmilie

I can't like people's comments for some reason....

Light leaks, in my exp., can be of insignificance, if very minor...........
After all, when plants grow out in the wild, isn't there moonlight?
I had tiny leaks in a temp makeshift box I had last season when my plants outgrew the closet, and didn't have enough room for all 5 to do a 12/12.
Also, even running lights at night last season, I still had temps during the day into the mid 90's, and still had decent harvest, and not even one seed out of any of them.

Exactly, I have major light leaks and once in a great while I get nanners toward the end of flowering.
