again listen to me.

put the carbon filter in the GROW room. put the duct on one end and connect it to your hood. then duct your hood to your inline fan, then duct it out of your house.

Thats what I did other than I have to wait a few days to get some ducting.
I apparently didn't make that clear with the explanation and pictures
My bad

but yes that is the way to do it, the higher your filter in your room the more hot air it will suck out. blowing into the attic should be good as long as it vents out!

Its way too confusing for me I am dyslexic with numbers and i asked around to try to find the right kind of lights
Now is too late
Have a 1k watt mh hooked up just need to get ducting to hook my filter up to the open end of my hood.
But I'm in veg so i don't guess it will be an issue for a little

Ok in the pics there's an empty milk crate next to the ceiling. That's where tthe filter will go

Your temps are around 90? My friend is having a similar issue. The outer room is hot no ventilation (discretion from nosy neighbors). I have heard of bad things happening when people vent into attic, mold etc. Be careful and get advice from multiple sources since there are a lot of growers. My friends exhaust is on one of the light and has duct going to fan on ceiling and venting out into exterior room. He has a 4" inline with a 250w hps and LEDs. We live down south so it is humid and hot. He has a 5000btu ac inside the grow room to keep babies cool. Temp still ranges from 82-88 with lights on. Next grow he is changing to night time to better keep temps down while upgrading to a 6" for 2-250w hps's. He has fans cooling the canopy and a box fan blowing air at the babies.

Also, he is growing sativa so it is more heat resistant and in veg he never runs the air and they look amazing!!! So lush and dark green from FFOF. He only uses Fox Farm products and is happy with the results so far. Need more lights though so his lighting will change with the exhaust. Maybe 2-3 250w HPS (one per baby).

Always keep air moving and fresh air. Good luck!

Thanks so much bro.
I also live in the south it's so humid.
I've changed things up w bit
Last night I just kept the light on so it sadly got 36 hours of daylight(hope it didn't hurt anything)
But now my light comes on at 9 pm so it's much cooler outside and in the house while it's on now
Last night I checked the temps each hour for 4 hours and stayed at steady 86 degrees.
Still don't have the additional ducting I need to hook up the filter yet.
I'm looking for a cheap tent
I have an unused room I want to move my 1k light fan and filter into as a flower room
And just use my 400watt in the closet to veg.
