Heat issue already!

I only have two 27w CFLs at 5500k in a 3' by 2' by 1' cab and it got up to 110 degrees. I didn't have any vents out, but now I have one. Are the 6500k lights cooler or hotter yet.

they are almost equal in heat output.

it has to be your ventalation, 110 is extremely hot, get some fans running to stablize the temp. and humidity in the cab.

open it a few extra times a day, and after seedling stage try giving your plants a little dark time, like 20-4 or 18-6

Can marijuana even grow at 90+ degrees. What about the marijuana busts in AZ. Is it more about keeping it's roots moist than the leaves cool?
