Hi hexthat, I am also growing in high heat. Can you tell me, did you move them out of direct sun into some shade or anything besides keeping them well watered? Appreciate any insight. Awesome seeing them thrive like that.

yeah i water till the point of saturation

i grow in rows about 6-10inches high and i sometimes have 1 inch of water between also there is always green algae growing between rows i really only let it dry about twice a veg season and during flowering i try to let it dry but im always flooding the fuck out of it with seaweed

+i think ill try and add more potash to the ground next season

i ether give them direct sun during noon or i give them shaded at noon and direct morning and afternoon

this is an amazing thing to use debate is whether to use 40% or 60% shade they try to climb out from under it =]

Appreciate the info, I think I will shade around noon too because I have some heat stress. It is a touch hotter here and also higher humidity which may be the reason. TY!

I noticed a growth spurt with my plants after the rain last week, my plants seemed to love it. I've not noticed anything but normal growth since the heat. I do think I need to be on the hunt for any pests as that's when they always seem to show up, when the temps rise.

ive been floral spraying ever few days with neem oil cause it makes a good emulsifier with soap, thinking that may keep bugs at a distance maybe eat the peppers and tomatoes near that i dont spray

Maybe... i tied down the tallest one, it was about 6 1/2 ft I think, maybe 7 when I tied it down. Its just as tall now as it was then (5 or 6 days ago) and it really openned up the center of the plant. I guess I could snap a few pics. and take a measuring tape haha

=) awesome
sorry bud, I actually did forget a tape measure.... Next time!!!

The post behind this plant stands 7 ft 4 1/2 inches above ground from soil level and its soil level is level with the stalk of the plant if that helps though ;)

A couple crappy shots of the garden- they are loving the dryer heat with mild winds.... perfect!

Indeed this next 40 days Im expecting the most intense of vegetative growth.... really counting on it.

Haven't really been below 95 here since that last heat wave or summer day I should say. Im having issues with a gogi og over 100 . just looked at her and she has freash shriveled up upper leafs on a few tops. Probably gonna have to shade her tonight when it gets cooler. 102 today.
