I could not find a health forum so i decided this would be the best place to ask my question. I am a medical marijuana patient and everything was going fine until about 8 months ago when I got a severe case of pink eye. I got it a couple times when I was younger and didnt smoke marijuana, but this time it was super severe and has not gone away. for the first two-three weeks I would wake up with my eye sealed shut, then after about a month the eye buggers went away. but my eye is still very sensitive to light and wind, for a while it was very hard to see and everything was blurry in my infected eye. the blurryness has gone away but my eye still itches and gets irratated in the morning and at night. the infected eye is visibly smaller than my other unaffected eye, which I dont like at all. I went to an optamologist and he prescribed me three different medications, but I was allergic to all of them and they just made it worse. He said that it must be the marijuana smoke thats causing it not to go away. It was very hard but I completely stopped smoking six days ago and so far no improvements are noticeable.
Has anyone else dealt with something like this? if you have please explain to me what made it finally go away and if you had to stop smoking or not. and how long it took till your eye was back to normal.
