question
i just started working out like crazy i plan on getting
big as hell
now my diet is not so good, but i figuer as long as i work out i'll be fine in the long run, my goal is to have a shirt off summer ( next one after this one coming up 2011)
i was on a water only (as far a drinks go) diet
my question is can i drink diet drinks- they say 0 cal, 0 fat, 0 carbs
keep in mind i tend to go overboard i can drink a whole 2lt by myself
is the = to drinking water
diet a.w. root beer is the best ever cant taste the differant
Hey bro...i'm big into the whole working out and eating right(most of the time). Diet pop=Good!...not the best...but it helps get the urge of sweets out of your head! haha.

Another tip PAM=0 everything(carbs, fat, etc.) PAM is your friend...if you like eggs(protein) chicken(more protein)...which is my main diet usually. haha...but if you want abs bro...it's all about the diet...let me know if you have any other questions.

i've never had a 6 pack, and probably never will... and i'm ok with that :D
A flat stomach is good enough for me. I enjoy being "thicker" anyway.

this is my day to day workout
been doing this for a month

day 1
arms, shoulder, innerabs, 45min bikes

day 2
chest, back, outerabs, 45min run (tredmill)
Try to do biceps, triceps the same day...chest and back/shoulders same day...and i devote a day to legs/cardio. I do abs EVERYDAY! You can do abs everyday...from what i've read, it's one of the only muscles you can work everyday.

Agreed, except for legs/cardio. IDK about you, after doing legs... i can barely walk. You couldn't force me to jump on a treadmill

going up and down in weight. I pyramid all the time. I do a lot of supersetting also
Super setting=Doooo Woooork! haha, i like you!

Never called it pyramid...we add 10 lb's for 3 sets every set...then go back down. But we switch it up a lot...sometimes we just go up...sometimes we just go down.

i like to do it little bit different

i try to work my routine around back and biceps one day then chest and triceps the next

and if there are other things you want to fit in just alternate them

also, i wouldnt work my abs everyday of the week..they need time to repair too

I do bi's and tri's every day cuz of the blood flow...same with chest/back...got the blood pumping to that area...might as well get some use out of it. ;)

if you want a sixpack, it's all about your diet
i disagree
i think you just have to go hard

do 800 crunches a day and cardio 2 miles
200 lower
200 upper
200 left side
200 right side

after a month add a 100 each

you have to live the way you eat
this is why a lot of x athlets get so fat when they retire they are nolonger burning the 8 meals a day off but they still have those eatting habbits

my workout is.
Wake up,stretch
6 sets of 50 push ups. Will double it once this wrist bullshit is taken care of.
3 sets of 50 crunches.
Chill for a little bit.
Jump rope for 10 minutes to warm up.
12,3 min rounds shadow boxing.
7,2 1/2 min rounds on the heavy bag.
7,3 min rounds on the speed bag to cool down.
I do everything but the speed and heavy bag before I go to bed to.

I like this,I been doing it for 2 years now.Im not in the shape I was when I was 16 but am perfectly happy how I am.I dont want to be like a massive body builder.Just flexible and quick enough for when I get back into boxing.
I probably will trash pick a set of weights when bulk trash comes around though.
