HEALTH CANADA :(

So they received my new application as of the 19th of October as well as my wifes.

Health Canada i can confirm, right now as of 10 minutes ago they are contacting doctors to confirm and sway doctors to lower dosage.

I was just told my doctor has been contacted about verification of dosage. My wifes was also called for 4 grams per day.

They need to speak with the Dr and nobody else. HC rep read the notes on both our files. Mine is much larger then her 4gpd and her Dr already confirmed.

F'n a-holes, so much for easy access, it seem like every day we hear of someone getting the run around or sneaky shit going on in the back rooms. HC has never been on board but questioning doctors is not one of their stated processes in this as far as I've seen. They really need to be dismantled/rebuilt...

There fucking it all up. She said they have always called drs to confirm dosage i go listen lady ive been doing this since 07 and you have never called doctors. They called my wifes dr for 4gpd what a joke.

Yeah it would seem they're trying to do everything they can to deter or reduce access. Wonder how many times they've questioned oxy prescriptions #$%!

theres also no "time lapse" on waiting for the dr to call back. It just sits there until the dr calls health canada...what bullshit.

Yeah, that's definitely playing games, they know how difficult it would be for a doctor to take the time to call back, plus they probably have one person who answers the phone. They're probably relying on phone tag.

How about getting into the 21st century if they wanted to do that process of verification and using... I don't know... secure email or a secure login page where the doc could sign off FOR THE SECOND TIME!?

This is clearly stepping into game playing territory and delay tactics. Wonder where that direction is coming from. Sure sounds like something that should be investigated, perhaps by the media...

Just spoke with a manager, they are calling ALL doctors to verify dosage. They are making calls on behalf of thousands of people to there doctors to verify the application.

Called my Dr office, nothing noted or saved on my file in regards to a call from HC...what a fucking joke. Just joting down everything they told me so it might help others. They wont even give me the phone number my doctor has to call haha this is a shit show.

HC has no business doing that. They require an original document. That's it.

Exactly,, original document with the docs signature, this is clearly stall tactics. Just wondering what's driving it.

I was told that a few month back but didn't believe it and was told that last week once again. The first time I heard it the HC person was telling the doctor that 30 grams is too much and a license like that is worth 100's of thousands (huh wtf?) That doc stopped signing after that.

HC is just trying to create FUD and scare the doctors. If you grow your own meds that sucks as it can really rail road you, if you are black market it'll keep the price up.

Send this story into a news agency. Some random government hack without any medical background has no business questioning your doctor.

There doing it with all licenses. My wife's doc got called and she's 4gpd. They claim my Dr has been called (called my Dr to confirm, never happened) I don't know wtf is going on but it's bullshit.

Just called HC. Apparently my doctor now "made a mistake" with my dosage and there sending him paper work I'M SO FUCKING PISSED

I wonder if Hellth Canukistan is calling all the Dr's signing those large scripts for $1000's?
Are these $1000 guarantees even being processed?

I'm not one for advocating breaking the law, however, in this instance, I'm looking after me first.

Originally I heard it was doctors signing 20 grams or more that were getting the phone call lectures.
