Health Canada issues section 56 exemption for lp's to sell fresh pot and extracts

Interesting indeed....

Talking about LPs..."They also provide Canadians, with physician support,"...uh...ok HC

"Licensed producers must not sell or provide any cannabis oil that will exceed 30mg per mL of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)"

Testing on fresh weed?....shipping fresh weed??

"The latest information also suggests that average authorizations supported by physicians have gone from almost 18g/day under the previous Program to a current average of 4g/day of dried marijuana".

I was just thinking the same thing...how in the fuck are they going to provide that consistently when they can't even grow consistently?

I tried to post the full text but it was to large. Quite the press release. Fucking hc assholes still don't want to give up the fight.

Whatever they need to do...I saw on the ticker this morning the AFN figures they can influence 51 ridings in the next federal election...make a bet they'll be some big fucking promises made soon...

This is huge, but it's also a bit shitty. It came faster than I expected and the LPs will be stoked about this.
I'm curious to see the SOPs for extraction and whether they can make oils out of "waste", etc.
I imagine this will be a huge turning point.

This is bullshit - they've been quoting 4g/day for a long time, 18g/day was their own dumb mistakes, not actual average patient intake. This is just them pretending they're fixing the problem.

"Licensed producers must not sell or provide any cannabis oil that will exceed 30mg per mL of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)"

This one I need some help on - how much is that? How does it compare to RSO?

they want testing...but then they'll let the making of oils fly..
Talk about making somone ill.. a concentrate of poison in oil form. Sounds awesome.
There are way to many issues in making oil that just have never been through testing...
and HC says MMJ has never been tested but Oh well... its ok now if we can make large amounts of cash....

pppphhhtttt see ya in court fuckwads!!

Wow
Imagine the kickbacks promised by this quick turnaround.
So does this mean that the lps will have zero actual bud for sale since they cant keep it in stock for more than a week now.
What a circus.....just legalize it ffs

Cash conguers outrage

Well this is just it isn't it? Maybe growing the same strain like GW does and concentrating from there...@magenta thumb...I think you should be piping up here...considering the decision only came down 3 weeks r so ago, this is lightening fast movement on anything for the government...any thoughts on why? Hahaha...4g/day....let's see them make that work with people who juice...or better yet, let's see what fucked up calculation they come up with to compare wet and dry mj...that'll be good...lol...even though there's nothing really fun about it...that cunt doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground....

Yeah guys, how many milligrams per Millilitre does conventional RSO have? I presume it's much, MUCH greater than 30mg.... am I wrong?

oil oil everywhere and all of it will get you popped!

Oh ...thats right...its legal.... and the first cop to catch someone with it will end up in court. How funny is that

  • Licensed producers must ensure that the quantity of the fresh marihuana buds or leaves or cannabis oil is also stated in equivalency terms to one gram of dried marihuana and the information is included on the label, and information regarding the conversion method be on their websites.

This will be interesting - all the LPs have to post their extraction methods on their website.
I can't wait for @The Hippy to start posting links.
