Statement from Health Minister Jane Philpott On Recent Media Coverage Regarding the Safety of Mariju

So a corporate entity sought to have their competitors products tested by themselves with out an oversight by a neutral/certified party and those products are said to be contaminated. This was then shown to gov officials. Yah ...
Not to mention the articles about two weeks back that showed dispensary cannabis to meet HC LP testing standards. So i hear ya

They broke the law in one of two ways:

1 - If the person who bought it from the dispensary wasn't a legal patient, standard posession etc.

2- If the person who bought it from the dispensary was a patient, they get around that, but the labs aren't supposed to test non-'legal' cannabis.

Sure is nice the LP's can break laws and HC could care less.

Well its federally illegal and they are licensed by a federal agency (HC), not provincial. Tilray obviously paid for this and pretty sure they would have had to handle it. So Tilray and the CEO admitted to possessing and handling cannabis from the black market and tracking in it if they gave it to the labs..

Shouldn't the lab that tested be in trouble as well for testing it?....lol...
