what i am getting at is you are making so many assumptions about a product without having actually used it or seen it. i try to limit my advice to what i know works from experience and i try not to make any opinion about something i really have no idea about other than what i may have read about it. thats just me though.
I fully respect that, though through cold microbial processing and if it is a pure fulvic all that should be there is the light golden color, so what is that botanicare does that accounts for the ph and color change from other company's fulvic acid products?

There isn't one botanicare product (and I use a couple) that fully discloses the story on the bottle, and in many cases they are just diluted versions of other products on the market, which is the main reason I make assumptions. For instance silica blast is weak compared to pro-tekt, and much more expensive. Liquid karma, is the most expensive kelp product you can find, and boasts a ton of other ingredients they fail to mention on the label. The fact that they do not disclose their "proprietary" (straight from the literature) process to extracting fulvex leaves me skeptical!

Call me crazy, but these products are all used in other forms of agriculture, except you don't buy a product called "liquid karma" when you're an agricultural farmer, you get the kelp / hydrolysate shipped to you at pennies on the dollar. I prefer pennies to the dollar myself.

Yeah irieie I like that :) Most have done that before though as it's pretty easy to do. I try to think of the internet as little recorder or that little fuckin annoying sibling that repeats everything said. I've been caught with my pants down before lol......

I like their products and think they are worth the money. I have used them with good results. I agree about making ur own things but sometimes convenience is worth paying for. There are certainly more expensive less effective products but I like the fact that they are local and I want to help support the local economy. That is also why I shop at many hydro stores even though I could source those products cheaper online. If we want to build an industry it must come from the growers.

I was always taught you can do it anytime in veg and a couple weeks into flower just dont trim after you start forming buds.
:jj:

mine are 3 weeks into flower and i did some trimming last night. i trim when i feel the need to. nothing serious, a small lower branch here and there. the plant doesn't care. they are not delicate like some believe. sometimes, after a month or so in flower, i see a weak branch, it's gone. i don't over trim the plants though. i like some popcorn buds for dry ice kief making.

2 weeks in flower here. it's going to be a good harvest.

Any particular fulvic acid product you recommend?
after years of trying this and that and all the additional work i put myself though, i now just use fox farm seedling soil (i forget what it's called) and ocean forest. once in awhile i'll add some quano just for shits and giggles.

i don't find much difference in yeilds, so of course i take the path of least resistance. :)

Yeah I used to use the light warrior soil for seedlings.

yeah i do the reverse of what most say to do. in my old room (5.5' by 5.5 '), i started out with 8 plants in 5 gallon buckets, then 10. a few years later, i was cramming up to 18 plants in there in 3 gallon bags. i always got larger yeilds with more plants. always.

under a 1000 watt, i was pulling over 20 OZ every three months. the crowded room fits my grow style, my desire for variety and i can try out my many crosses quickly.

i rotate their positions under the light every week or so.

they have puffed up a lot in a week, and this morning i found the most beautiful smelling malawi. my god it smells good (kind of like a sweet bubblegum) and it's only 3 weeks in flower. i'm hoping the odor stays and the high is equal to it. if so, i'm cloning my ass off.

I've grown with coco for years I dont know if it's any better than Super Soil...
I have been on the coco trip for a while! I am going back to soil slowly but surely!!

Less work! Good enough reason!

As far as any other reason... Its all preference of taste or something else that is preference..

I could choke a chicken 100 different ways... Half the time folks will say you are doing it wrong, try this way.!

A good reason to use Pure Coco is for the ability to flush it beyond reason! Coco is neutral in PH and has no nutrient value!
