This is my first grow :-D Feel free to reply with advice, compliments, experience with these strains, ect.
Some info on the strains
Mango Sherbet (Humbolt) - Photoperiod, feminized, with a flowering time ~50 days, I chose her bc she's got a quick harvest and allegedly a low amount of couch lock with tons of sweet candy mango flavor and a smooth sherbet, "coughless" smoke appeal. She's a cross between Mango Trees, Mango Kush, and Sherbet. Also, 10 packs were priced fairly on DCSE (didn't get any freebies though :-()

Blackened Oranges - Also photo-fems, not sure about the flowering window on these girls. I saw one user here on rollitup taking them to around day 60 at least, but haven't seen an update on if they've harvested yet or not. It's a poly-hybrid from BlackJack (Black Domina x Jack Herrer) and Bag of Oranges (Blood Orange x Tangerine Power) and I'm stoked for a frosty orange described as "potent citrus like that of an orange peel". I chose these girls mainly because of the excellent price on a 10 pack of fems, and their dense trichomes and dank citrusy flavor that I think will transition well to my first rosin pressing.

Setup

Mediums/Nutes
-Fabric Pots, 6x each @ 1/2 gal, 1 gal, and 3 gal
-Coco Coir & Perlite medium
-General Hydroponics Veg/Bloom/Micro nutes
-CalMag

Veg/Bloom Gear
-2x 5'x5'x'6'.6" mylar tents, one veg, one bloom, but bc I need additional lights into a perpetual grow; the current grow will use both lights in one tent for the full life-cycle
-2x "2000W" blurple LED's w/ V/B switch, made by "Cannalights" sold on Amazon
-2x 6in inline fans for tent exhaust
-1x 6in carbon filter & ducting for bloom tent; fan inside the tent on exhaust, filter outside the tent
-2x Oscillating fans
-12x hole-drilled storage totes for catching runoff water

Germination/Cuttings Gear
-120W HPS Seedling/Clone light in aprx. 4'x3' area, hung aprx 13.5" above seed tray
-Wide top seedling trays
-Currently making use of my 2 oscillating fans for cooling; need additional fan
-Need humidifier; currently running wet towels in front of fans to spike into comfort zones a few times a day
-Also getting small tent for closet for temp/humidity control and to make better use of my current light

Peripherals
-Midrange pH meter, didn't cheap out too much but didn't get a fancy one either. It seems to be accurate
-EC/PPM meter, it's kind of a cheapo, but I've been getting consistent readings with it
-SmartPlugs for scheduling lighting and fan cycles and monitoring power usage
-Thermo-Hygrometers with an app for monitoring temp/humidity of the seedling station/tents

March 15 Week 1
12:30AM Dropped seeds in labeled shotglasses of distilled water, kept in dark
6:30AM checked on seeds for submersion
11:00 PM Noticed seeds popping.

March 16
1:00 AM Placed seeds in damp paper towels on heating pad.
6:30 PM Turned off heating pad. Tails forming nicely on Mango Sherbets. Blackened Oranges beginning to get tail sprouts also.
8:00 ish PM Turned heating pad back on, plates were cool.

March 17
1:00 AM All Mango seeds have vigorously fully formed tails, 2 Oranges with moderately formed tails, one with small tail. Planted seeds into Coconut Coir seedling tray, clone light applied until 7:30AM and resumed at 11:30 the following morning.
4:00 PM One Mango Sherbet has begun to break through coir.
11:00 PM Second Mango Sherbet has begun to break through coir.

March 18
1:30 AM Third Mango Sherbet has begun to break through coir.
5:00PM First Blackened Orange has broke through coir.
6:30PM Second and Third Blackened Orange are barely visible through coir, about to break through. All Mango Sherbet seem to be reaching for light (becoming a little leggy), raised the heating pad and germination station approx 2-3 inches closer to the light.
10:00 PM All seedlings are now broke through soil. Mango Sherbets are all about 2 inches tall, still getting leggy. Raised seedlings to 22" from light.

March 19
7:25 AM Watered with nutrients for first time, probably did not give enough water; runoff was too little to get a decent reading on PPM, numbers jumped around due to not being able to cover the sensor completely. PPM jumped between 95-250ish with an input of around 250.
12:30 PM All plants are at least 1 inch in height for Oranges and Mangoes closer to 2".
Afternoon: Tested nutrients PH, was low at 5. ish. Added PH+to quart sized container of seedling nutrients. Will balance PH and PPM further before next feeding.

March 20
5:00 AM Raised plants closer to light, now at 15 inches away. Input readings are PPM @250. PH @6.7 ; Runoff PPM 240. However such small amount of run off is difficult to test.
6:30AM Pulled back light schedule and feeding time from 7:30 to 6:30. Lighting period now 10:30AM to 6:30AM.

March 21
Plants have continued to grow and developing second set of leaves. Adding small amount of additional coir to the Mango Sherbets for support.

March 22 Week 2
6:00 AM A root became exposed on bottom of Blackened Oranges #3. Plan to transplant to ½ soon.
Prepared coconut coir for transplant, started first buff of CalMag. Plan to buff a second time and transplant at feeding time.
11:00 PM After further research, the decision was made to wait for transplant. Evidently root growth at the bottom of the container is not sufficient evidence of a need to transplant when growing in seedling trays with Coco coir. Will wait until at least 3 leaf nodes have formed. As of now the start of the second true nodes are showing on all Mango Sherbet and on Blackened Oranges #1 and some development is on the smaller two Blackened Oranges.
11:45 PM Raised seedlings an additional ~2 inches closer to light. Got second buffer going as well.

March 23
2:30 PM Finished second CalMag buffer.
7:00 PM Put toothpick supports besides all but the shortest Blackened Orange. The tallest Mango Sherbert had begun to lean a bit. Finished putting together first (Bloom) tent as well.
6:00AM First solution batch is out. New solution tested at ~265 PPM, 6.2 pH. Runoff still maintaining good ranges of within 100-150 +PPM

March 24
Have noticed coir is drying out faster since the last light raise, increased watering to 2x day, with the first feeding occuring "as needed", and the second still scheduled for 6AM
6:00AM Runoff levels had an anomalously high reading of 490. Second testing normalized to ~360ppm

March 25
Leaf growth looking exceptional on all but Orange #2, which appears to be stunted slightly. Growth still occurring, but it is definitely behind her sisters.
Orange #3 showing slightly concerning signs of wilting at the stem; leaves look healthy with no signs of droop though. Thinking it is asking for more water, as it is in the tray with the least coir in it.
Drilled holes in tote lids to prepare stands and runoff catchers for fabric pots.
Filled ½ gal fabric pots with perlite/coir mixture at roughly %33 perlite. Began fertigating with seedling solution to prepare for potting-up.

March 26
After continuing to fertigate the ½ gal's, and feed regularly, had to prepare third mix of nutes. Solution came out to 320ppm and 5.9pH.
Abandoned "twice a day" principle and have decided to maintain a high-fertigated, high moisture level to the coir. Feeding "as needed" to keep moisture %'s >%80
Orange #3 still looking somewhat limp, though she's showing signs of improvement. Adjusted the support to better hold her up. Her leaves still appear very healthy.
1:15-2:00AM Temperature spikes to 87F and humidity drop to ~%35; the Govee Home app fails to send a notification for whatever damn reason >:( Screw you, Govee Home. Suggest for others to look elsewhere in a thermo-hygrometer.
6:00AM Runoff from 320ppm mix was higher than expected, at ~490ppm. Will monitor next feedings to see if this was the result of rinsing or if there is a possible buildup (though doubtful).

12:00 AM All Mango Sherbet have started to develop their third nodes. Blackened Orange ‘1’ and ‘3’ have
both opened their second nodes as well. Blackened Orange ‘2’ is still developing its second
node. It is behind the rest of the crop in height growth as well. The majority have outgrown their seedling trays, and the Mangoes have started to shadow over some of the Oranges. Mango #1 has significant root exposure. Will transplant all 6 tomorrow.

1:00AM Cleaned tent to prepare for transplant w/ water/bleach solution

Mar 28
1:00 AM
Transplanted into the 1⁄2 gallon fabric pots from plastic seedling trays. All are now inside the tent
(5*5 base) with 2x 2000W LED lights, at a height of 20-18 inches away from plant tops.
The fabric 1/2 gal pots were pre-fertigated with the seedling nutrients intermittently when feeding the plants for approximately 4 days prior to transplant in order to reduce risk of transplant shock. After transplanting, and monitoring, Vegetative nutrients were used to water the plants
in their new individual homes. The smaller two Blackened Oranges were placed in the center to take advantage
of more direct light. 3ml CalMag/gal, 5.6pH 975ppm

11:00 PM
Waited to monitor the status of transplant, then re-applied the supports (on all but the smallest). Several were
bowing their heads with leaning stalks.

Blackened Orange 3 what look like clawing leaves on the bottom leaves, but think it was
present (slightly) before transplant. Most other plants seem to have a slight bend on one or two
leaves. Blackened Orange 1 has the beginning of the mildest discoloration (pictured on the 28th) on the bottom two
leaves as well, but otherwise doesn’t seem to have signs of leaf droop/clawing. Blackened Orange 2
seems to like the new home, she's still small but has finally opened her second node and signs of growth make me happy.
Going to gather info on possible causes of their status.

When taking pictures noticed small amounts of leaf tip burn on some of the girls' bottom leaves.
After studying possible causes, I'm taking the following measures to treat what I suspect are the most likely culprits: Magnesium deficiency, possible heat/light stress, or wind burn:
1) Reduced direct fan strength on plants.
2) Added additional ducting from exhaust fan to directly over the lights to cool tent. Will also take more action to keep tent temperature lower.
3) Raised lights and additional ~2 inches, resulting in 24 inches total distance from
tallest plant canopy.
4) Further research suggests that 5ml/gal of CalMag would be better, will up the amount
used in the nutrients.
5) Will have a goal PH higher than 6 since magnesium is better absorbed at 6.0-6.5
Will assess new growth/change in the following days to determine whether the problem was
corrected.
**Side note; I unfortunately had to switch to tap for 1 day. It was filtered with a "Pur" carbon sink filter, and I ran 2 submersible air pumps in a 5gal bucket overnight to hopefully aerate any remaining chlorine.

Added more coir into pots, they were a little low and had some root exposure. Also went back to using distilled water. Current nutrition blend at 5ml/gal of CalMag + 1 tsp/gal of each GH basic nutrient results at just below 900 PPM. No noticeable symptomatic
new leaves. All plants are experiencing growth. Going to continue to assume problems have been treated until more time passes.

Girls are looking good, even smelling good! Blackened Oranges #3 still has the heavily clawed bottom leaves, but new growth is looking great and it doesn't look like it's coming at the cost of more clawing/curling. Please let me know what you guys think! :D
Pics came from around 1:00AM Apr 1st

Have noticed heat stress, edges of some leaves were curling up on several of the girls and some minor sagging.
Also found some white powdery build-up outside the tent, along the ducting and in the fittings of the tent. I suspect it's mineral build-up from the humidifier, I am using tap water to humidify for now, until I can get an RO filter ordered, but I'm surprised it's not found more inside the tent or directly near the humidifier itself. There has been very minor dust on the oscillating fans' blades that I have taken for simply house dust up until now. I also didn't notice the powder on any of the ducting on the intake side in the tent, just on the inline fan blades and the front of the exhaust ducting. Will monitor for more accumulation.
After a few days of cooling better, it seems they are doing better. Trying to keep it under 76* and around %45-50 RH, but I still see spikes with the AC kicking on sometimes.

Also noted some algae growth in the run-off containers, being translucent plastic it doesn't surprise me. It's not coming back into contact with the pots though, so I'm not worried about any impact it's had. I will start emptying the pots out more regularly, and if eventually needed, look into light covers for the totes.

Still getting excellent growth. Have taken the supports off of Mango #2, as she outgrew it and stood up well on her own. Will likely do the same with the others soon.
I've raised the short girl (Blackened Orange #2) to be on par with the rest of the girls, and lowered Mango #1 by changing their tote size.
Planning to exhaust the hot air out of the room with a 4in inline and run a transom vent to intake cold air into the main room. I also plan to vent the closet better somehow, haven't pinned down a plan for that yet though.

Have noticed tiny root exposure coming out the sides of some of the bags. Planned on up-potting soon to 1gal anyway, so this is encouraging. Buffered 3gal batch of coir twice over a day for ~8hrs a piece, up-potting to take place on the 4th.

As far as previous issues go, they seem fully treated. No more discoloration, no more leaf tips with burn, no more clawing on new growth. Have to assume the increase to CalMag was the remedy (I'm sure the time away from fans blasting at them when they were little seedlings helped rid any wind-stress too).
They seem to enjoy the high fertigation veg nute cycle they're on. Seeing noticeable growth daily. Leaves are getting nice and big.

Cleaned room (and house) in preparation for up-potting.

Dumping pics in next posts

Apr 4 (Just after up-potting)
Didn't up-pot the Blackened Orange #2, not because she's smaller, but bc I undershot (once again) the amount of coir needed to buffer. Buffering another small batch and plan to up-pot tomorrow afternoon. Don't plan on undershooting again when I up to 3 gal :wall:
Plenty of peripheral roots were on the sides of the 1/2 gal pots, they were definitely ready for a bigger home.
