head shaped nebula?

NGCs 6960 and 6992-5, the Cygnus Loop SNR . Collectively the Veil Nebula. 6960 (the bright portion to the left) is the Cirrus Nebula, and is ime an easy binocular target in fall skies if you have a dark sky.
NGC 6992, the Filamentary Nebula, is fainter but can *just* be made with good binos or a decent-sized telescope. The progenitor star is believed to have exploded 5 to 8 millennia ago. cn

<add> Imo the reporter needs to go look at actual human heads, preferably in the fully assembled state.
