HC : Medical Marijuana Guide For Physicians

I'd like to actually see it, but I seriously doubt if it was started under Ambrose's watch that it's 'non-partisan'.

Seems to have lots of warnings about 'potential harms', cites conflicting studies etc, but does at least caution doctors about making conclusions. You'd probably need to see the whole thing to see if it's reasonably laid out or is more FUD.

here comes a propagandized list of negative effects to provide some wiggle room for dr's to weasel out of prescribing for patients now that they cannot rely on the old false maxims of legal status or inefficacy...we all know this is just another example of the government shinning us on.

Once legalization comes, doctors are no longer part of the equation. Even now, if you can prove a medical need, no court will convict regardless of whether a dr. signs off or not.

A proposed (im assuming) list of side effects is how they are going to get out of prescribing?
Have you not noticed ALL meds have a list of known common side effects? This is because your altering something in the body. The only side effect is not you getting high. Not the way your body works, activating so many sites in the brain and body does have an effect
Not all of them can be be positive in all patients at all times

water and sun can be bad for some..
side effects come in many forms. Most people assume side effects are all bad.
It's when the side effects from meds out weigh the good they are doing, is the issue.

Health Canada already has a huge list of false side effects that the LPs are forced to send out with every order.

I think you are being paranoid. Legalization was an election promise and I haven't heard squat to suggest it won't happen. What has happened since the election that would suggest they are going to do a 180 on legal rec? Not everyone will be happy with what it looks like, but legalization is coming...have no fear.

tl;dr is the guy is MMAR covered under the injunction, had a brain seizure and woke up shackled to a gurney. They seized his house (he's unable to return pending court), he was able to retrieve his 15 dogs but now has to put them all in a relatives apartment, etc. Relatives showed the police his paperwork, and they said 'we don't care, you're growing to sell'.

So let's dispense with the fiction that if you have a medical need nothing bad is going to happen to you, especially if you own your residence.

IMO...it's gonna be a 2-teired system (med/rec) and Dr's. wil always be part of MMJ.

No...I won't change my position because you don't agree. I said no patient is going to be convicted of supplying their own medicine . I've never had an issue with my garden....But then I don't sell.

The ONLY politician that said he would 'get right on it ' was Mulcair.. JT said he would begin the process...which he did within months of being elected. Never has he said 'second term' although that might be what happens.
