Hawaiian Snow report.

Hey all. I thought since I've been a reader of many reports that I would make one myself from one of my favorite strains from the dam Hawaiian Snow. The plant was grown by the grow master Eric da Red in the Dam to 8 inches, then stretched to 3.2 feet in bloom. The yeild was 99g (the plant took up 1x1 to 2x2 feet of space) of extremely dry bud. The buds are very spear shaped and the flowers stack up on eachother. The bud is very green with alot of trichs.The smell is an earthy, slightly spicy mint. No hay smell even with no cure. A 3 month cure does little for the smell because the stuff smells so good on day one. 3 weeks of leaching nutes created a very soft smoke, not harsh at all. The taste is similar to the smell an earthy mint but no spice on the smoke. On the exhale a slight berry taste but an overwhelming taste of soap or perfume (like eating soap, but in a good way), very interesting. And finally the potency, this stuff is pretty powerful, lasts for hours and requires very little to smoke. The trichs are pretty amber but the high is still a sativa high, but this will put you to sleep if you over indulge. Over all a very good potent strain that happens to be the best yeilding sativa I've seen for the size. The plant is remarkably like kali mist, looking the same and the smoke is similar. So if you like kali mist and other elite sativas, I would recomend Hawaiian Snow. I am unable to post pics now but I'll see if I can get it to work later.

Single Cola or topped?1000 W, 2100K HPS? Bucket size, medium?

I've just had blueberry stretch from 8" to 43" in aero under a 600W, 3000K MH, 18" from tops, and it's still got some height to put on as the kola builds. I was expecting 50% - 150% stretch, 540% and climbing is spooky. Strawberry Cough just a little less stretch growing side by side in the same unit, I thought it would stretch more than the BB.

Could you explain the high a bit more in depth please. Is it a floating high, trippy, creeper, clear headed, euphoric, up lifting, body sensations ... anything you can think of would be great.

1000 watt (very chill room so the light can be kept a a closer distance than most setups, 6" or less for some strains), natural growth ( one cola but allowed the side branching, some side branches were almost as big as the main cola, a reason yield was so good) and a 12 inch diametre full depth pot. Mychorrizal "soiless" mix. The grower tested Grotek products on this run of the plant as well as grozyme cal max and adding many things I don't know of. BB can throw some stretchy curve balls, I've actually seen clones that stretched and looked completely different from the mother(and not due to light). Also aero is optimal for growth so if your ever going to see %540 streatch on BB it would be in aero. The high is a sativa head high even with ambers. After awhile you can feel sleepy, but you have a very energetic hour or two. The high is up lifting but not racey like some of my favorites. I did once get a little anxious with this but most of the time its more of a happy trippy with very little lows. Very good for patients that want the sativa medical effects (anxiety, seizures) without the paranoia they can cause sometimes. If I had to use your words though I would say it creeps in a little say 5-10 mins top, and is kind of euforic and up lifting, very positive as long as u dont smoke too much. I find kali mist to be a little outdated in potency against the hawaiian snow. Kali mist is an all round cannisouer strain, in that you get good potency (7/10 on my scale) but the taste and all around experience of smoking is easily a 10/10. Hawaiian snow gets a nice potency thats up there with certain arcata clones, but the taste although unique does not have as much depth of flavour as the mist. Personally, Hawaiian might be the one to choose, you get three nice phenos (Sativa dark leaf, light leaf indica with lots of resin, and a mix of the two with light leaves) and you get 1-3 week shorter flower with better yields. I've also had a mix with hawaiian snow and malawi gold (best father I've ever seen), and it was very very nice.

The tallest blueberry clone was 49" (from 8" - 610% stretch) last night, after about 4 weeks of 12/12. Hopefully it'll stop stretching now. I moved it from my aero unit to a 5 gallon DWC bucket because it was blocking light to the other clones. Beautiful plant, probably the prettiest I've grown. Tall skinny Christmas tree with lots of branches on the lower nodes.
