hello anyone and everyone
seeing if there is a much interest in any of these stains?
growing in a 2x4x5 tent with a dim able 600w apollo hid, 400cfm fan, with 12 inch carbon scrubber.
grown in amended supersoil.(more worm casting, compost, myko's, hi p bat guano, alfalfa meal, crab meal, azomite, humic acid, kelp then let cook for 35 days)
all 3 are in 6 gallon pots lst'd and topped less than 6 inches tall. i am on day 30 of veg under 450w mh. will be throwing the hawaiian snow in flower on the first and will veg the other 2 another week to 2 weeks.
going to try and run my light at full power but we will see if the small tent can handle the temps when that time comes.

if there is interest i will continue with this thread if not then i guess it fades away.
enjoy bob

will be 3rd liberty seed pheno 1 done 60 days pheno 2 done 80 days.(one of easiest fastest vegging plants i have grown)
as for the critical kush freebie(stinks of lemon diesel funk at day 30 veg)
hawaiian snow topped at 2nd node then lst now has about 15 tops stretchy as shit.

Only have the critical kush and hawaiian snow left in my tent. gave away the liberty haze with promise of getting clones back when this run finishes. put a 32x24 screen over the hawaiian snow now has around 50 tops. anyone think this is too much? the screen was about 70% full when i switched. now its full and the vertical growth begins. i only have about 28 inches more they can grow vertically. the hawaiian smells like stinky armpits with onions mixed in. the critical kush is pure diesel funk. today is day 22 since flip to 12/12 have ran an mh bulb to minimize stretch in the sativa. will be switching to hps this weekend.

i have been running my ballast on 600w with mh bulb which is 7500 lumens/sqft. switched to hps bulb on 600w which is 11,000 lumens/sqft but raised my light about 4 inches. def better light coverage by raising the lamp a bit. the switch in bulb raised my temps about 2 degrees around 78. plants are nice and green anyone think this is to much light? if i switch my ballast to 75% will be back to the 7500 lumens/sqft. i am also losing some light by pushing it threw a cooltube.
any thoughts would be appreciated gonna run on 600w as long as i can keep temps down and growth is nice green and healthy.

been running amended supersoil made from scratch. bought 2 bags of ffof and one roots 707. after this run taking clones of hawaiian snow, super silver haze, hawaiian skunk, liberty haze, master kush x hawaiian skunk and crossing them with blueberry male to come up with seeds. going to test the different soils to see if all the different breeds like the different strength soils. supersoil, ffof then roots from hottest to weakest soils or thats what i am thinking now.

critical kush same picture as the one 2 above this one week later or day 34 since flip.
packing on very quickly. switch to a hortilux super hps with 25% more blue will see if this has any effect on frost.
have been running ballast at 75% or 450w plants are much happier than when i was running it at 600w.

2-3ck front bud.JPG
hawaiian snow is def coming along much slower than the ck tho which was expected.
she grew about 4 inches above the screen this week hoping for another 5-10 inches so i am 10-15 inches above scrog when finished. still making slight adjustments to scrog to keep everything semi even.

day 39 since flip.
have a few fungus gnats flying around so i bottom watered last 2 waterings. one was straight water the other watering was epson salt and kelp. each pot soaked up a little over 2 gal of water each time.
hawaiian snow filling up with pistils. grew another 2 inches in last 5 days. smell is def of sweet onion.

this critical kush is getting more sticky and filling out more everyday. getting a fruity smell to add to the diesel.

thought there would have been a bit more interest in hawaiian snow at least. know both barney and greenhouse have bad names. oh well hope someone can take something out of this.

sorry about the crappy pictures but figured i would post anyway.
had a slight bought with fungus gnats dried out top of soil and bottom water a few times.
had never test ph or ppm of my water or runoff before. friend let me borrow meters.
water ph out of well is 6.8 with ppm of 180. will be checking a few times throughout the year.
runoff of pot was at 6.4 for hawaiian snow and 6.6 for critical kush. plants are in 6 gallon container drinking about 3-4 gallon of water a week.
hawaiian snow started producing trichomes this week guess about 8 weeks left.
critical kush is packing on the weight guessing about a month to go.

Pretty interested in the Hawaiian Snow. I wouldn't turn your ballast down. It's pretty inefficient. 78 is a solid temp. And I don't think your plants seem to mind the light. You can have too much but you're not at that level.

you could visibly see a difference in plant health they would do fine til about hour 10 while on 600w. the whole tent is 4x2x5.
so realistically from top of plants to top of tent is 3 feet. 90,000 lumens in a 4x2x3 foot area is a lot. i am interested in your thoughts if wouldn't mind sharing.

running an apollo 600w ballast on 75% so 450w in a cool tube at about 15 inches from plants.
my temps range from 71-78 during lights on to 58-63 lights off. my lows happen when outside temps dip below 15 and the wind is blowing. having problems with lights and temps?

YESS!!
Currently 8" reduced at filter to 6 - hood hood outside.

Only have room for one exhaust at that window.

My intake is laundry room its passive I have 2 of em.

If I use my spare 6" to intake from laundry room to lights and back into laundry room will it help my Temp's? 2 1k MHS sits at 84 currently ..its winter as well.. But I did frame cold room well and now there's passive intake

Its in my cold cellar

how big of a fan you running?
the filter is def a reduction. thats a big room compared to mine.
i run a 400 cfm fan anywhere from 50 to 100% depending on outside air temps.

Its 700cfm 7x6x6 room..

Will cooling the lights with laundry room air n dumping into laundry room help keep temp down

You'll be able to tell if they're getting too much light. They will start bleaching, leaves will start curling etc. I wouldn't stress it until the plants show signs of distress.

i would run 2 fans for your setup. one to cool the lights and one to exhaust the room itself. not sure it is the proper way but how i would do it. my setup is the biggest i have ever run.
