hey...

There has to be a garden store somewhere in your town??!! A nursery? A hardware store? At any of these stores you can buy good dirt....not mg. Just make sure whatever you use doesn't have time released nutrients.

But if MG dirt really is all you have...then just don't add any nutes until the plants are older/bigger and have used all the mg time release nutes already in the soil.

As far as nutes go....look up Fox Farms on line. There are a bunch of good nutes out there. Advanced Nutrients is great. Just type in "indoor gardening".

Most nutes have 1 for flower and 1 for bloom - the plants need different nutrients for these two stages especially.

Good luck

if your gonna do MG, then get organic mg only! and no matter what soil you use your gonna wanna mix perlite in it.

Zig Zag is correct! I started to add about the perlite but spaced out. Perlite is the little while rocks you see in potting soil.. it provide drainage and helps prevent overwatering/root rot. You can get it on the internet or from the stores I mentioned above.

Organic Miracle Grow should be easy to find. You could also add diatomaceous earth instead of perlite. Napa sells big bags of it as "oil dry" for $9. Its (allegedly) better than perlite or turface as a soil amendment. Absorbs moisture, nutrients and still saves room for air. It also has the sometimes helpful side effect of being a mechanical pesticide that dries insects out.
