having problems diagnosising...

I am a newbie and I have been working hard to figure this out on my own but I just don't know what I am doing wrong. I finally broke down and got a soil tester and it appears that the nutes were low (K and P). So I added nutes that day, waited, then watered a couple of days later. But the plants still seem to be struggling. Did I do the right thing? Should I be more patient and wait? They looked so much healthier when they were younger I am concerned and I lost 2 other plants so I am trying to avoid screwing up yet again. Please help if you can. Thanks!!!DSC06720.jpgDSC06709.jpgDSC06710.jpgDSC06717.jpgDSC06721.jpgDSC06722.jpg

When you say you added nutes, then waited a couple days to water,....Did you mix the nutes with water, before you added them? That might sound like a dumb question, but those pics look pretty rough, and I'm just trying to get to the bottom of it.

At any rate, they would likely be happy if you did a good flush, then a feeding with veg fert(along with micro nutes).

Any idea what PH you've been giving them, water, and fert mixes?

Call the Colonel because those things are EXTRA crispy. Looks like they're burned up AND have some sort of lockout. I'd go for a major league flush with PH'd water. Wait a couple days and then give them some 1/4 strength nutes (I use Jacks Houseplant Special) and watch the new growth.

I did mix with water. I am using Earth Juice 1/2 strength. Wasn't sure what the PH was until I got the kit and it was high. I was using tap water, should I get some kind of purifier?

Ok, I will flush them right away.

But at what volume did you give it to your plants? Yes the instructions say blah blah ml per blah blah litres, but when you saturate your substraight with that mixture you leave behind the salts as the water pours out the bottom

Probably overnuted to begin with, PH being high = nutrients not absorbed and left behind

Depends on the PPM of your tap water...if its low like mine(only 120) then its fine, if not yeah filter that shit

I flushed them last night and there was a lot of brownish yellow run off. They are still alive this morning so I will be patient and hopefully I can save these plants. Thanks again for the help guys
