my big plant's lower leaf is yellowing and one of the top leafs has brownish spots on it what you guys think? also all plants were planted on the same day and treated exactly the same however the other 3 are still very small compared to the big one and are yellow unlike the big one which is a dark green color guessing its some sort of Deficiency but dont really know what to do any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. bongsmilie

Too much humidity from being buried in the pot like that.. you can see the little leaves trying hard to transpire. The big one looks like N, Fe, Zn def and the seedling looks like planted in a butt hole. You've got shitty soil like me

LOL, agreed, that soil looks pretty terrible. Looks to stay soaked forever, suffocating the little ones. That'll cause PH problems, as well. Staying wet too long, will cause the organic material to decay, making the soil go acidic. Transplant, and add a bunch of perlite, if you must use the same soil, or go with something different altogether.

the soil is miracle grow organic and the reason it looks soaked is because i just watered i wait 2 to 3 days to water making sure to pots feel light i dont think thats the problem? but thanks for the help ill try adding some perlite.

^Adding the perlite is an excellent decision. I did a test, not long ago, putting MG soil against Fox Farms soil, and the only thing I added, was perlite, about 20% to the MG, and some additional perlite to the FF's to even things out. Both soils performed the same, and actually, the MG soil worked a tad better(visibly noticeable), which proves to me, that the only thing lacking in MG soil, is adequate drainage, for growing MJ plants. It stays too wet for too long,(overwatering, to a 'T') out of the bag, under most circumstances, while growing MJ, IMO. :)

I could kiss you man!!!! Finally someone with the balls to try miracle grow organic! They sell it her but im too scared, on the other hand it is the only organic soil they do sell here so i am tempted, guess il wait and see how yours turn out first.

Ok more pics neede of the whole pot so i can see just how much soil and how big the pots are, you shouldnt need a fert yet but if you do skip that and repot into slightly larger pots. I will know more when you post some more pics, also post a pic of the mg organic soil bag so i can see if it is the same one they sell in my local hardware shop!!

You are truly a legend using this soil, could it be my next soil? maybe, maybe!

You don't have to wait, the test was over months ago, and like I said, the MG soil did a bit better than FF's soil(adjusted for proper drainage, of course). The MG soil will work great, but for a new guy, I can stress enough the importance of adding at least 10% perlite, 20% is even better. Then, you won't have to worry about overwatering, at all.(unless you soak 'em every day)
