Have you ever seen a petal come out of a calyx?

I am finding actual flower petals coming out of the calyxes on these buds. Is this weird? I have grown out lots of buds and never noticed it before...never grown this strain tho.

Maybe it's a he/she usually they'll do that just means you got a hermie

nope. i wish i had taken pictures. The first thing I looked for when I saw that was male flowers. i dissected a bud to be sure. no nanners here! I still have the strain and im flowering more out now. Hopefully I see it again so I can get pictures.

Hmmmm I'd have to see it I've seen that happen one time in a friends room and it was a hermie.
 
You know. i have been thinking....it IS true that i have never actually seen a hermie in person. Maybe I just missed it! I looked thru the pictures I do have and I couldn't see what I'm talking about at all.
