Have you done a perpetual grow with 400W and CFLS or something similar? Show me

Title says it all.

Whether you've done hydroponic or soil let me know. Id like to do this sort of setup. ATM Im using hydroponic but would like this to become perpetual. Of course the 400W HPS for flowering and CFLS for veg


Have you experimented how to get the best yield from a 400W? Small plants one large cola.. maybe 2 large plants. etc

lol i am actually working on the same exact set up now, cfl/t-12/hps, those questions are great about the hps, i was wondering the same thing. i am bulding basicly four rooms with dry wall, one for mothers and clones, t-12/cfl and one for veg, same cfl and t12/ and then two for flower, i have one 400w hps for that, untill i get another one. just gonna use these t-12 and cfl bulbs that put off great red tint. forgot the exact names of them

Here's a pic from my previous grow a few years back. As you can see it was in a very small closet (about 2ft deep if I remember right). Those are 2x 250w HPS lights, but before I had those in I was using CFLs. It's 4x Rubbermaid type DWC "buckets". Each bucket was a different cycle, spaced 2 weeks apart with the youngest being on the left. I harvested about 3.5oz every 2 weeks. The mother was in a 2x2 area sectioned off to the left of the flowering area. Very tight space, but a perpetual harvest none the less. I have a bigger op now but it's a very different setup (vertical dwc/nft hybrid).

Anyway I know it's not 400w, but 500w is pretty close, right?
