I've never cracked a CC bean, and threads like this are part of the reason why. I have a few freebie seeds from CC sitting around, but they are bird food to me at this point. If it were one or two people bitching about CC then I would likely ignore it, but there a ton of people on this site and others saying the same thing ...... and many of them are respected members of the forum.

Add to that I've seen swerve running his mouth like a hormonal woman on threads, so I'll take a pass all together on his gear. If the head of a company carries himself so unprofessionally in a public forum, then why would I believe that any other aspect of his company would be any more professional?

Well send them shits to me and I'll grow em HAPPILY...don't knock something until you've tried for YOURSELF

Well like I said, I won't be trying them. A ridiculous amount of negative reviews coupled with the fact that he's an arrogant jackass is enough to keep me away. I have patients that rely on consistently good genetics too, so I can't afford to waste time/space on garbage. I've got a fridge full of seeds that will take me years to sort through, so why would I eat the brussel sprouts before the filet?

Hahahaha , I don't think there is anything wrong with honesty. We aren't "bashing" anyone, I merely put up a poll to see how many people fell for the hype and ended up with shitty results. That isn't bashing that is getting together some actual evidence to show our fellow growers how many people actually had a horrible experience with his beans. :)

And if you notice 50% of the people who have answered this poll have admitted to being swerved, so if less than half the people are getting good results there might be a redneck involved.

In my early days of growing, I sure as shit got swerved.

Boss Hogg: hermied
818 "Headband": NOT HEADBAND at all, NOT EVEN CLOSE

I would really like for someone to smack the shit out of swerve--smack him so hard his beard falls off....

He has linebackers as bodyguards, he can't go anywhere in public without them on standby because he kept opening his bitch ass mouth and selling bunk ass seeds to all the people in cali.

I was close with a dispensary owner out here and he sold a ton of Cali Connection seeds when they first came out.
Then, a few months later, that shit hermied and autoflowered.
A lot of angry patients complained, it nearly put the place out of business.
I know that Swerve and the gang aren't welcome in this neck of the woods.

Come on, you know you can't say anything negative about peoples genetics or character without it being bashing. Let alone there are some people who are trying to help the new or small time closet grower make a decision on what's good and what's gone bad when trying to select seeds. I'm glad I joined here, with all the info I will not be losing any money on highly questionable genetics. But with that being said, all the freebies I got from him, I will grow out. Not too big a task to keep a CLOSE eye on them. I guess I don't mind trying to shift through dog shit looking for that diamond.

Yeah if you live in Cali, you don't need to look on the net to get bad reports.
Most of us already have access to legit cuts, there are a few breeder's that I trust/use.
I do love a plant from seed now and then!

Sometimes you get lucky rolling dice...I agree with watching closely!
I always give my CC freebies to friends + they let me know how it turns out.
They've never kept any of the clones, so I guess they weren't worthy.

I am going to be documenting a buddha tahoe grow if I can actually get the motivation to keep on it until the end. I know a few people who have had luck with the Tahoe OG so we will see whats up. they are m/f btw not just fems.

You'll have a better chance of finding a stable female in regular beans.
I can go get Tahoe OG clones right now if I needed them, so not very appealing to me.
