Have to go 48 hours of dark. Will my plants be ok?

A long story short....it's complicated, but I need to turn my lights off for 48 hours straight.

I am on 12/12 lights now, and have been for 3 weeks. Flowers/buds are definitely showing female sex. If I go 48 hours straight of total darkness, will be plants survive, and bounce back when I throw back on they lights.

I only have 2 plants, and am unsure of the strain, or if it's indica or sativa. Judging by how they look, I'm leaning towards them being sativa (these girls are tall and thin). I am running 4 CFLs bulbs on each plant. The Daylight/blue color, and highest wattage I could find.

Please no questions about why I have to turn off the lights for 48 hours. I have no choice, and that's all that matters.

I just want to know if my plants will survive.

Thanks

If your plants have been flowering for 3 weeks and you stop their regular light cycle, you will stress the plants a lot. This stress could cause the plants to go hermaphordite. Hermies are not fun...

well, its going to stress them no matter what, 48 hrs or 72 but 72hrs w/o light is just too much imo, i would not do it. I wouldnt do 48 if possible, but you already said its not, but 72 pushes it to far i think, at that point your risking serious harm.

3 days is the absolute maximun according to Ed Rosenthal in the Marijuana growers handbook. And yeah, as long as no light leaks in youll be fine.
