Have i left it too late to scrog?

i had to work away for a week and have my babes looked after in the rooting stage, i didnt get a chance to set up the scrog net above the pots before i went away and theyre all now about 14" tall. is this too tall to set a scrog net up just above do you think or should i carefully lay the net over them and weave as much through as i can?
