have a look please yellowing of lower leafs, and red stems?

Hey guys I got 7 different strains all started from seed that I planted on March 2, They all sprouted on March 4th, and Recently over night I;ve noticed this yellowing on the lower leafs and some of them hjave really red stems .

Now about its been 5 days since I topped them and It was the day after I topped them that I gave them steril water with a little DNF Green 3-2-0. It says 2ml per Liter but I gave it 1ML per 2Liter (empty pop btl 2L) and I went ahead and gave them a drink of that That was fine up untill Yesterday.

We've been getting alot of sun last couple days so I decided to shut off my 3 CFLS and shop light and bring the plants to the window cill yesterday morning. and by Last night I noticed that lower yellowing and very red stems.

I'm thinkin maybe too much sun yesterday? or maybe they're getting root bound now as they are 5/6'' inches tall from the cup and I've just topped them too I want them bushy.

The Dirt/soil that I used was some miracle gro potting mix 0.14-0.14-0.14/ mixed in with Perlite for good drainag. I have bigger pots now that I plan to move them too if I have to. and I have better dirt now. and even couple bricks of coco I have.


What do you guys think?

I already gave them regular Ph friendly water at 6.0 last night before bed. I got them on 18/6 Light Sched.

and I dont have proper Ph Tester I just have PH Test Indicator fucking fill the vile and drop in 3-5 drops per test and match the color. lol ..

Classic signs of nitrogen deficiency and since nitrogen is pretty available at a wide PH range, ph probably isn't your problem. Try giving them another half dose next watering.

^^^ Good diagnoses Doc

Once them first set of single blade leaves turn completely yellow and shrivel you can pull them off.

I have a few issues with your grow, but the first is to ask if you have any drain holes in those cups?

when you say sterile water, do you mean distilled?

Yeah I was thinking about a Transplant.. as they have been in the cups for 28 days

Yes Bottled water to be exact.

They look soggy to me? You topped already? I would have to say that after you topped they stressed and stop uptaking water but you continued to water and now they have soggy feet.

Let them dry out before watering again whatever you do do not transplant until you see a happy girl again or you could prolong the problem or start another.

What was your reason for topping so early?

Sir ganja has good advice. Next time try not to top until your plant is more established. I usually wait until I have 6 or 7 nodes then cut just above the 2nd node which will give you 4 tops. Also the cut with give you a nice clone. So your plant is stressed, taking it off your cfl and putting in direct sun like that can stress as well. Don't over water or over feed when they are so young. Having better soil will help with required nutes to start as well. I don't add anything until about 4 weeks just water and you don't really need to worry to much about ph. Just keep an eye on it. Soil is very forgiving. Transplant soon but as ganja suggested wait until they are less stressed and your watering schedule is worked out meaning they go through a dry wet cycle.

let your soil dry out more, needs to be damp, not mud.

IS that the time-released MG mix?? That stuff can kill some plants-- the more you water, the more it feeds-- so it over feeds...

also- how much drainage do your cups have? They may be over-watered as well.. which again, means releasing more 7 More miracle grow.....

IMO-- get Some "Light Warrior", or Promix, or an un-fertilized seed-starting mix and replant them into 1-gallon nursery planters (cheap black plastic) do NOT try to remove the existing soil-- just plant it... it will help dissapate the fertilizer into the surrounding neutral potting mix....

Only water when the top 2 inches of soil are totally dry & the planter feels light... then water slowly and evenly- enough to saturate all the soil with a little 'runoff' out the bottom... then do not water again till it is dry again!

Do NOT feed them anything until they overcome this and are more mature-- and in new planters at least 2-3 weeks! The MG will keep them fed till then... but then you nedd to have some real nutes for your plants!

An easy organic to use is Flora Nova- 2 parts- veg & flower... and any brand of micronutes (we use both Botanicare CalMag and Earth Juice Microblast) and a 13/14 P-K solution or other zero-nitrogen P-K nutrient for later in bloom.
