how are you supposed to get buckets and dirt and stuff out to your grow when you are just starting? I was getting all exited because the snow is starting to melt here and me and my friend were going to scope out some locations but then i thought about someone seeing us bringing pots and soil into the woods, I'm using the pots for a tree grow.

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Well, the only good advice I can give is to recon your area. Is it residential? Countryside? Are you driving somewhere to do this? Are there people nearby the trail that would see your frequent visits???

Best option is to make a mid-night (3am) run. As goofy as it may sound, get Rambo with it (besides the weapons). Wear black, re-pack all your stuff as compact as possible in dark sacs. Work at night using only MOON LIGHT. Be as quick as possible. And MOST IMPOTANTLY NEVER LEAVE TRASH. A free floating empty soil bag in the middle of the woods is a dead give-away!Also, please don't plant them all in one area. That is how crops are found. Spread it out some. Also know your local laws. If your planting 25 plants and your state law says 25 plants carry a MMS (mandatory minimum sentance) of 5 years (felony) your screwed if someone caught you sneaking back in the woods.

Good luck, be smart, and take pictures. :peace:

ok thank you, how should I carry my stuff into the woods? I don't know if i'm going to be on bikes or in a car, but if I have like 5 or 6 big buckets of soil it's going to be prety hard to carry them all in the woods with just two people.

the only way to do this without getting caught ripped....is to drive way off trail...hike an scoot an aera...then you must comeback an haul everything by hand..make sure your waaayyyy off any trails...no trails what so ever shoulld be anywhere near you....gps works well...peace az

Gps is an outdoor growers best friend unless he's grizzly adams .
For sure it's amazing how sometimes without one you can almost walk right by one of your plants without seeing it. I got into the gps last year and works very well. just don't let anyone look thru your gps unit. You should record the location somewhere else and enter it every time you go out.

just be smart man use your head, make sure no one can see you carrying your supplies a smart thing 2 do would be use grow bags instead of pots because you can just throw them all in a back pack.

Night time is the wores time...Thats bad advice lol COPS have the upper hand at night from the air and the ground..Day time and act as if your in your backyard either way if your triping out or being level headed that doesnt make a difference when the chopper flys above.. Stressing over it just makes it harder on you if they catch you they catch you being stressed out doesnt make it less likly to happen.

You said it pyrex. Also, as for walking at night, I would rather risk doing it all at night then at day. The likleyhood of a 5-0 chopper seeing you is pretty slim. I live in a pretty good sized city and I honostly don't remember the last time I saw a chopper randomly looking for crooks. BUT, cops do look at people driving around at 3am a little suspiciously anyway.
I am more of the guerella mentality. I would drive out there during the day (a time when people are least likely to be around) have my supplies repacked into dark sacs and placed off trail (not too far though) in the brush, cover it w/a camo tarp or throw some debris on it, and come back out at night. Either way if you plan on doing a "in the tree grow" your looking at ALOT of supplies. What I would do? Start them in the dark colored hanging pots at house and wait till they get a set of leaves, and gather your ropes and gear in a backpak. That way when the time comes to set it all up you can just get ready and go out one night and set it up.

Most importantly like everyone else has said be smart, don't do this in a high risk area. If you are worried about people seeing you in the process chances are its not a good location. ALSO think about how you are going to tote the H2O and how often. Good Luck

if your worried about being seen by people, than chances are its not a good spot to grow
not true somtimes you must haul equipment and/ or supplies through a high traffic area, it doesnt mean its a bad place to grow as long as you place your plants off the trail quite a ways. And in some cases not all but some the most
obvious is inconspicuous. Anyways some advice if you dont want people to see you just work at an odd time, look for cars, people and even animals chances are if you see animals in the direaction you are going there aren't other people ahead of youand most of all never leave trails, makers, foot prints of garbage.
good luck

for one thing your too paranoid.. being to paranoid will get you caught! and thats real.. like me, i planted 6 plants in the mountains in a ditch that has lots of bushes, sun and 1 or 2 trees, off of a freeway.. on top of that its next to a trial and 3 houses! i wasnt paraniod when moving my dirt or plants there. I was just actin normal but aware of my surrounding. just dont look suspicious and you have nothing to worry about.. when you go to water, make it fast and be out

how's this for a growspot? 5kilometres from the nearest major road, in a small rural town, 3k down an atv trail and another 2.5k hike over a frozen marsh? I doubt anyone'll find my garden. as for transporting all this crap I do this in the wintertime with my snowshoes and a toboggan. never seen anyone. but if I do, I tell em I'm checking my trapline. when I do set out I make sure the weather calls for a 70% or more chance of precipitation (snow), that way my tracks get covered

Damn! That first pic looks exactly like a lot of my spots. A clearing near a stream in the middle of the woods. What more could you ask for?

I have to say, though - and this is nothing personal - I never realized what a total dork you look like in real life. Still a damned cool poster, though, as far as I'm concerned.
