Anyone passing through Saginaw? Only interested if weather is nice,

Technically, the Diag is on the U of Mich property, and the U of M police force are state troopers, so they don't play by the same rules as the A2 cops, so it isn't a good idea to light up on the diag during the hash bash, however after the bash, at the Monroe Street Fair it is safe to light up as long as you do it in the street, and not on the north side of the street or anywhere on UM property.

I so wish. Honestly, if not for family here in Michigan, I'd move to KY and never look back.

I went years ago and it was the wildest thing I ever attended. M2 fire, Vulcan, M230, All kinds of SMG, Blowing stuff up, Crazy, especially at night.

That was true in years past, but last year there were a lot of people smoking freely on the diag. I watched cops walk by a circle of kids sitting on the ground hitting a bong, on campus, during and after the rally.

just be awake and be safe<---

I'll be there, probably showing DJ around the fair after the rally. There wasn't a fair at the last hash bash he was at in '73.

dominiks is the place to go after the rally on the steps of the library...
in the garden and chill in the back--
shhhhhh.......don't wait in the line just walk to the back smoking section...hehe
tell them you have friends with a table back there and 'joe' told you to just come right back....hehe

-lots of law students around there I always thought ...so a good place to exercise your rights
i always thought that is why they always did it there

and then the conference will be at the clarion which is a good 420hotel conference center since its located in A2

and there have been stories like reggae in the woods and other things so....

Don't be so sure - just because you witness one thing doesn't mean it is the norm. I also witnessed a few busts last year on monroe street - they turned off of state street and went after the first group they saw on the UM side of the street with a bong, so be wary

It's not worth it to smoke on campus. Last year, saw plentry o cops doing smack down, to mostly young kids, all over diag. and then hauling them to the pig wagon. Do it off campus!

Not sure if they still do this but there are undercovers walking around in the crowd who will signal the uniformed officers by simply tak off their hat and just holding it up in the air for a couple seconds.
