I'm currently growing Northern Lights under 180w cfl in soil.
I planted my seedling in the beginning of february. One month later i switched to bloom, two weeks after that it started to show small flowers(or preflowers if you want to call it that).
Now, 5 weeks after the preflower sign, the older buds have turned about 50% red and the trichomes are 80%cloudy/20%clear(spotted with a 100x magnifier). The heavy THC production on buds and nearby leaves started about 2 weeks ago.
Now the thing is that this plant has been through alot. Drought, overwatering, overfertilizing and heatburns to name a few and i also had to supercrop the main stem about halfways because it was starting to grow waaay to tall(first grow you know, didnt even know what topping was!).
Either way, the main top cola is very young due to being burnt away from heat/overfertilizing and having to recover while the others who could grow undisturbed seem ready enough.
Is it possible to harvest half of the plant?
Should i wait another week or so until i get 20%amber/80%cloudy trichomes?
Cant wait until i can get rid of this poor tortured plant so i can start up a proper scrog grow.
Any comments?
