If you are into organics, beneficial teas sprayed on the plants up until week 4 have prevented mold and bud rot on an outdoor
grow I had in the past. It prevented a lot of things actually. Caterpillars, mites, you name it. BTW, it rained hard several times and
even for a week in late flower. Good harvest and great smoke.

I run at 65% RH and I've never had mold or bud rot (knocks on wood).

mold is indeed the issue number 1 in my climate, however i never have it when i power my dehumidifier. it is the correct timing that i need to estimate that is more tricky, and i consistently get mold in thickest colas if i dont use it at all. if you ar still getting mold with dehuidifier, chances asre that you did not squeeze the room enough to make the dehumidifier able to handle the volume, of you need a bigger unit depending on room size. anothe big possibility is that your exhaust is inadequate, possibly due to obstructions like a filter, ducts or curves, hope this helps

I use eagle 20 in early veg, never have a problem in conjunction with keeping room sanitary and cleaning constantly, along with good air circulation, dehumidifier and keeping night temps above 70 and I haven't had a problem since I first started growing

It could also be your environment. I kept having problems with mold until I bought an air purifier with a true HEPA filter. Since I got the air purifier I havent used a single fungicide and dont get mold or bud rot (knock on wood)

No, I've never used a mold preventative. I do have excellent ventilation and a dehumidifier (set to 65).

You know the best friend of your plants are the mycorrhizae fungi. Fungicides are for clueless people (no offence) the beauty of indoor is that u get to create the perfect conditions. Please no fungicides. ..

No mold or rot issues here and my room gets cold at night this time of year, mid upper 50s sometimes. I have ample airflow, with a fan blowing up from under the plants to keep the canopy well ventilated and keep humidity around 50%. I also have a couple air filters, that supposedly filter down to 3-10 micron, in line of my rooms air intake to try and stop and bugs,mold,etc from entering.

Yeah it's healthy bacteria , or it eats bacteria. I forget. Fox farm soil has it in it. Didn't know mycorrahizae prevented mold

this is not at all what I meant.
mycorrhizae prevents mold only because it helps with overall plant health.
what I meant is give your plants the right conditions and they wont get powdery mildew or botrytis, no need for fungicide, because it will also hurt the good fungi (mycorrhizae) which helps your plants, got it?
personally I would never risk humidity going over 50% for any length of time in flower, and even in veg if you personal grow is in your house.

just a bit easier and more directable than a hooded bulb, concentrated source thats what i meant more of a Zapp than a slap lol
lost a couple a few grows back to rot, got a couple on a ruler to wave around the back and under leaves, dont like not having my meds.. hope you over come the rot, aint nice for anyone
